Carbis Bay Area Guide

Dip into life on Carbis Bay Beach..turquoise sea, soft golden sand, cocktails and water sports - bliss!

Booking a holiday to Carbis Bay means you will enjoy a slower pace of life; it is a peaceful holiday destination suitable for all. The walk to and from the beach is via a hill so not for the faint-hearted but so worth it!

Carbis Bay was well and truly put on the map when PM Boris Johnson chose it as the destination to host the G7 Summit in 2021 inviting other heads of state to enjoy its beach, sea and beautiful local area. Who would have thought that President Biden would roll up his trousers and take a paddle in Carbis Bay?

Carbis Bay is split in two by St Ives Road which directly leads into St Ives. There are holiday cottages in Carbis Bay that are on the hill sloping down towards the sea. Self-catering accommodation on the other side of the road has direct access to Knill’s Monument and Steeple Woods with incredible views of St Ives Bay. There is a footpath that leads directly downhill to Carbis Bay Beach from St Ives Road so visitors are never further than a 10-minute walk from getting sandy toes.

What others love about Carbis Bay

Having used Orange Roofs before and being impressed Old Boswednack kept up the standards we previously experienced. Thoroughly recommend.
