About 2 Harbour House
If you want to come on holiday and have all of the comforts of a modern and exceptionally well equipped apartment; 2 Harbour House is the place to stay. Two bedrooms which can welcome two couples staying in king size beds or a family where one of the bedrooms can become a twin room, three bathrooms shared between four guests, two en-suite bathrooms for pure self-indulgence, soft and luxury bed linen, TVs in each of the rooms, a light and airy kitchen with cooking tools to entice the most budding of chefs and, to finish off, the living and dining space which could have jumped off the front cover of Coastal Home magazine. The owners have just added a cosy log-effect stove in the living room too; perfect for those autumn and winter getaways.
As you drive into St Ives, you will be hit by the extraordinarily beautiful sight of St Ives Bay. The harbour is embraced by two long piers where fisherman will land bountiful catches during the day. Within the emerald green harbour water, you will spot fish glistening in the sun and also our very own resident seal who has become quite a celebrity in his own right. Within the arms of the harbour, boats bob to the ebb and flow of the tide, organised boat trips come and go on a regular basis from giving those on board the wonderful perspective of St Ives from the sea. For the more active, Tassy Swallow (St Ives' female medal surfer) offers Stand-Up Paddle board lessons and hire. For those that want to sit and observe all of the activity in comfort, the harbour and Wharf front is lined with tea rooms offering Cornish cream teas, bistro restaurants and traditional Cornish pubs.
Having said that, all of this can be watched from the privacy and luxurious space of 2 Harbour House. Unadulterated views across the harbour, its beach and beyond along St Ives Bay coastline can be drunk in to your heart's content - morning, noon and night.
As the beach is a few sandy feet from the front door, folding chairs and beach essentials including bucket and spades have been thoughtfully provided and, to remove the hassle of parking in St Ives, an allocated parking space is just a 10 minute walk away.
