Absolutely loved the apartment nothing could improve it amazing views very comfortable home from home and just a short 10min walk to town thankyou orange roofs had a great holiday

We really enjoyed our stay here at the Porthia Penthouse. People say this in reviews, but the apartment was fantastic. The bed was comfortable the pillows soft.I say this as our experiences after this stay wasn't so good. The kitchen was very well equipped and the washer was tops. We have been in many apartments in our time and this is definitely the best we have been to. What I most like is the attention to detail. The whole family is considered here. We travel as a couple but there are plenty of toys and games and beach things to keep the children happy. What I expect from an apartment first-and foremost is cleanliness. This sets me up for a good holiday. This apartment does not disappoint on any level. I have in the past cleaned apartments before use. Not here. It's beautiful and a credit to the owners as well as the management at OrangeRoofs. We knew before we arrived the apartment would be of high standards with your communication and fully comprehensive instructions on how to enter and use the apartment. Lastly I would like to say what impressed me most is the quality of furniture and fittings and most of all the crockery and cutlery. If that was not enough we had the extra benefit of using the spa across the Road. We both really enjoyed this treat. I would definitely stop here again and use apartment managed by Orangeroofs .

Porthia Penthouse was a great place to stay in St Ives with generous, comfortable, well thought out accommodation and tremendous views of Porthminster Beach. Conveniently situated for all the facilities in St Ives and a parking space outside for trips further afield.

Stayed in St Ives many times but first time at Porthia Penthouse. The property is on the third floor so has a wonderful view from the balcony, so worth the climb.
The apartment is very comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. There is a parking space outside the property and it is just a short walk down into town.
We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return.

We recently stayed at this property and had a great time. The property was clean, modern and had everything we needed. We had clear instructions for getting to the property, parking and getting into the building. AS others have said there's a few flights of stairs but the views from the property are worth it.

The kitchen had everything you needed and instructions for using everything were clear. 

The beach and train station are a few minutes walk away whilst the harbour is maybe a 10 minute walk. 

We used the spa and swimming pool passes which were a great addition when it was raining, it was about a 2 minute walk to get there.

Overall a great stay and we would love to return

Porthia penthouse is amazing you won't be disappointed! The view from the penthouse is incredible and definitely worth the walk up the steps to the apartment. It really does have everything you need for your stay and is really well equipped with everything to a high end specification. My 6 year old loved the x-box and now has one on his birthday list, he also enjoyed some of his favourite tv shows on Netflix. The beds are really comfortable and we loved the blackout blinds in each bedroom. The location of the apartment for us was perfect just a 5 minute walk down the hill to the harbour and Porthminster Beach and your own designated parking spot at the front. Do not hesitate to book the apartment, you won't be disappointed. We rarely book the same place twice but for this apartment I think we will make an exception.

Absolutely incredible apartment, we've stayed here a few times and it's definitely one of the best places we have stayed in St Ives. If you're looking for the best view and location with off street parking, the comfiest beds, gorgeous style, well equipped kitchen and spotlessly clean holiday home then look no further. Porthia Penthouse is perfect in every way.

As a frequent visitor to St ives , our first stay at Porthia. As long as you understand the that there are flights of stairs the penthouse is really lovely and absolutely worth it . Amazing views, every home comfort and high end kitchen accessories. We were extremely comfortable and parking outside is the icing on the cake for us having used many different properties in St Ives. The owners had thought of every home comfort and we were extremely impressed. Thank you Orange Roofs once again for being great in all aspects.

Porthia Penthouse has literally everything you could possibly need whilst on holiday, we have never stayed anywhere as well equipped. The views from the lounge and patio are simply stunning and well worth the climb to the top floor. My only criticism is the scales in the bathroom, I really don't want to know how much weight I've put on whilst on holiday!

Just wow! We didn't want to leave! Porthia Penthouse is incredible. We are a family of 4 (2 children aged 6 and 10yrs) and have just had the most wonderful holiday. The penthouse has the most breath taking views, is in the best location to access all that St Ives has to offer (especially the wonderful Porthminster beach which is across the road) and is the best equipped apartment we have ever stayed in! As soon as you walk through the front door you'll feel like you've stepped into paradise! It just ticks all the boxes and with the added bonus of a parking space right outside the front door, you can't beat it! I have already looked at availability for next year! We will definitely be booking for 2023.

My family and I stayed at the Porthia Penthouse in May for our first trip to St. Ives. The property is easy to get to, and parking is right outside. The instructions provided for checking in, parking, etc, were straight forward. Once we made our way to the penthouse (there is quite a bit of stairs if you are bringing a lot of heavy baggage), we noticed that the unit was exactly as it is depicted in the photos, which is stunning. It was very clean, well maintained, and really new. The views from the dining area and the balcony were amazing. The master bedroom was very spacious, and the second bedroom was spacious as well. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and organized. The washer/dryer was pretty new and did not have any mold (something I look for to see how well things are maintained). I think the best way to describe the property is that the owners built it and organized it as if they were going to live there full time and in luxury. The location was amazing. It is literally across the street (and down some stairs) from Porthminster Beach. It is also a short walk to the town centre. We messaged the host on IG during the stay and they gave us a lot of good recommendations for restaurants and sites to see. Our experience staying at the Porthia Penthouse made us want to come back to St. Ives again, and only if we get to stay there again.

We had the most wonderful stay at the apartment. Fantastic views, home from home comforts, swimming pool access was a bonus, great location for town and parking! What more could we want. Will definitely be coming back next year. Thank you

We had a fantastic time staying at Porthia Penthouse. The apartment is beautifully decorated and comes equipped with everything you need. The view from the balcony is spectacular. The beds are extremely comfortable and there are SmartTVs in the lounge and both bedrooms (which saves arguments over what to watch!). There is a parking space right outside and the apartment is well situated in St Ives. It overlooks the beach and is only a short walk into town. The Harbour Spa Hotel is on the same street and the apartment comes with two guest passes. We had such a nice time it was hard to leave!

I have stayed here twice now in the last year and can say I will be booking again very soon - if your looking for an amazing place to stay with a view of perfection then this is the place to stay. The view from the balcony at the porthia penthouse is amazing and the place itself is perfect for anyone wanting to stay in St Ives. Orange Roofs make booking so simple, easy and hassle free I would suggest that you book with orange roofs. Having used other places I would put this at the top of your list.

This place is so uniquely wonderful, we have stayed in so many places over the years and there has always been a comprise but from the first moment we walked through the door it was perfect. The owner of the apartment clearly pays close attention to detail making it a home from home. The Christmas tree had little chocolates hanging from each branch and even the decorations felt like a touch of luxury. The kitchen is heaven for a cook with every utensil, pot and pan you could ever imagine. Not to mention the stunning coastal views out of every window as you place the food on the table. The Porthia Penthouse has a lovely balcony, perfect for a couple to rest and look out at the white sandy beach whilst the kids are sleeping. We spent many a night looking out at the ocean with a glass of wine and cornish fudge (or two!). Facilities at the apartment are perfect for a couple or family, two modern, clean and very well presented bathrooms and bedrooms. We found a cupboard in the hall with an ironing board and washer/dryer which with a 8 month old baby really saved us - more than once! We cant wait until our next break from work when we can come back and explore more of St Ives and the surrounding bays. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience

I booked this stunning apartment due to the location and the amazing view. On arrival the apartment looked great so clean and ready for me to start my holiday. The apartment has everything you could ever wish for. The apartment is so spacious and the kitchen is amazing. Orange roofs were amazing with the app and ensuring my holiday went as planned. There is no other company I would want to book with now and no other apartment I would stay in. I will be back very very soon to stay in this great apartment.

Couldn't ask for more on cleanliness, views are amazing…. The owners have thought of everything needed to make your stay really enjoyable… bed was so comfy also, good size parking space too. We will definitely be booking to stay again.

What an amazing apartment. We had a fantastic stay here. This is around fifteenth apartment we've stayed in at St Ives and it would rank among the best. Everything you'd ever need is provided. Lots of storage, lovely layout and great location with parking. And of course, can't forget the amazing views. The stairs aren't for the faint hearted but at that exercise just gives an excuse to eat more lovely St Ives food!

The apartment was immaculate and had everything you could wish for. The large patio doors created a picture window that made you feel as though you were outside with the view, without having to actually go outside in the cold night air.

We spent a week in this wonderful apartment with our two young daughters. First of all, the location couldn't be better - beautiful view right over Porthminster Beach where we could choose to go for a quick dip or a whole day (it is that close). It's the perfect location in St Ives as you can walk to the main harbour in a few minutes, yet you're not staying right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The apartment itself was beautifully presented with charming seaside colours, all framing the views of the sea. There is everything you could possibly need in the flat - right down to the specialist cooking equipment (and the prettiest mugs for your morning tea!) and even some beach toys for the children. Booking was also very easy, and the place was spotless (really important to us, especially in Covid times). We would definitely visit again and wholeheartedly recommend the Porthia Penthouse to everyone.

We've been coming to St Ives for many years, always high end properties, but have never booked through Orange Roofs, I found Porthia Penthouse on their website. The apt was beautiful, really well equiped and the balcony/view was superb. All is of a good quality , decor well thought out and cleaning stuff was provided. Interesting how many places don't leave anything at all. Instructions on the app for property info, arrival/departure were comprehensive and efficient. Would def book the property and Orange Roofs again. It was just what we needed after a truly awful year.

We recently had the pleasure of being the first guests of Porthia Penthouse and it definitely didn't disappoint. Before our arrival we were given all the information you would need and the agency kindly let us know once the housekeeper had been, so we checked into the apartment earlier than 5pm which was wonderful. The apartment was extremely high specification, extremely clean and brand new furniture/TVs/amenities - there was even cake tins if you fancied making a cake! The location of the property was ideal for us with a 5 minute short walk into St Ives town and overlooking our favourite Porthminster Beach. The wow factor of the property was definitely the view from the lounge and balcony overlooking the crystal Cornish waters of Porthminster - making us want to stay in most evenings and enjoy soaking up the views from the property rather than queue for restaurants around the harbour! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Porthia Penthouse to friends and family - thank you and I'm sure we will be back again soon!
