About 2 The Coach House
2 The Coach House is a ground-floor apartment that offers everything you need, whether you are visiting as a small family or for a romantic getaway. Holidays to St Ives at 2 The Coach House means you have outdoor space, sea views, parking for two cars and you are welcome to bring along your well-behaved and mannered small dog as this holiday apartment is pet-friendly! The parking is directly outside the apartment so all you have to do is take a few steps through a gate, across your first outdoor area to the patio doors, and you've arrived. The front outdoor area has seating, and most importantly, stupendous sea views to soak up with a cold glass of your favourite tipple!
No detail has been spared with this contemporary St Ives holiday apartment and it capitalises on using all of its natural lighting. The vaulted ceilings with the exposed wooden beams ensure that the apartment basks in light throughout the day and adds a sense of space to an already spacious open-plan living area, dining room and kitchen. Your dining area and table offer the perfect setting for a family meal, intimate dinner for two, or an ideal board game battleground. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need for self-catering holidays to St Ives, with all the necessary integrated appliances such as a dishwasher, induction hob, oven and washer/dryer. As well as all the other amenities you'll need for cooking up a feast. For the coffee lovers, the owners have kindly installed a Nespresso coffee machine.
The living room provides you with a stylish and comfortable area
to sit and enjoy the sun on a hot day, with the patio doors open,
or a space to curl up and read a book on those stormy afternoons.
With two sofas you're not short for space when the whole family
want to nestle down around the Smart TV and enjoy a film or two. At
2 The Coach House there is a Coach House Netflix account you are
able to use as well as a Sky TV Essentials package with 300
channels you can choose from, so we're sure there will be something
for everyone! If you're looking for a bit of pre-dinner music or
some get-up-and-go at breakfast, you're able to connect your
phone/iPod/iPad via Bluetooth. Everything you need right at your
fingertips, now that is what we call easy relaxing!
On the opposite side of the living room/dining area is another set
of patio doors that lead you to a more sheltered and private
outdoor area. It is another great space to sit and enjoy an evening
drink or a morning coffee whilst soaking up your St Ives holiday
experience.
Off the kitchen area are two bedrooms; one is a double bedroom
with built-in wardrobes and the other is a twin bedroom with sea
views from a side window. Please note, if you intend to bring your
own travel cot or hire one, both bedrooms are quite small and so
you may need to move the beds to suit your own family needs to
accommodate the cot. The luxurious shower room is ample with a
large shower cubicle, wash basin and WC.
From the apartment itself, you can access the South West Coastal
Footpath that leads directly to Porthminster beach in one direction
or Carbis Bay in the other. It takes just 5 minutes to get to
Porthminster beach following the path down to the coastline. If you
prefer walking along the pavement into St Ives town, the walk to
the Malakoff takes between 5 to 10 minutes depending on how many
times you stop to enjoy the view! If you prefer to take the bus
down to the town (or back up if the walk seems too much after a day
of sun and swimming), there is a bus stop just a few strides from
the apartment itself. 2 The Coach House is very conveniently
located on the main road into St Ives.
As the Blue Flag awarded Porthminster Beach is a very short walk
along the coast path, this also means that the amazing Porthminster
Beach Restaurant is equally as close. This much-loved establishment
in St Ives offers a wonderful dining experience, perfect for
special occasions. They're open for breakfast, lunch and dinner as
well as coffee, cakes and cream teas. We would recommend booking
ahead to ensure you get to eat there, with some of the freshest
seafood available, it is a must. Not only are you sure to have a
great meal, but there are also some pretty excellent sea views
too.
Your closest dog-friendly beaches to 2 The Coach House are Bamaluz
Beach in St Ives, or Porthkidney beach, a very short drive away, in
Lelant. Bamaluz Beach is a little smaller and, depending on the
tide, can disappear altogether. Porthkidney Beach does not have any
facilities such as a café or toilets but it offers miles and miles
of golden sand for the dogs to enjoy. The other beaches in St Ives
such as Porthmeor, Porthminster and Porthgwidden have seasonal
beach bans which mean dogs are only allowed on them at certain

If golf is your thing, you are quite literally on the doorstep of Tregenna Castle's 18-hole course with what must be the best views ever. They also have tennis courts and an outdoor pool as well as Spa treatments too so all the family can be entertained and kept fully St Ives relaxed! Another place to enjoy Spa treatments is at St Ives Harbour and Spa hotel which is a very short walk from 2 The Coach House. You can sit on the huge terrace with coffee or cocktails and watch the sunset before heading into town to try any one of the restaurants serving fresh and local food. Remember, book ahead to avoid disappointment!

We loved our stay at 2The Coach House. It had everything
that we needed for a short break. The location was good for us with
the bonus of parking outside.
It was well equipped with comfy sofas and beds and lovely
fluffy towels.
The accommodation is light and warm with the bonus of a sea
view. A very welcome selection of bread, milk, apple juice etc was
left for our arrival.

We very much enjoyed our second stay at 2 The Coach House. We love it's proximity to Porthminster beach which means we don't have to worry about catching the train into St Ives. The property is just off the main road so there is some traffic noise at night, but this doesn't usually disturb us. Hopefully we'll get to stay again next year!

Lovely property for a weeks holiday in St. Ives. Just far enough out to be nice and quiet, but near enough to stroll into the centre of St. Ives. Good views of the sea. Very clean, tidy and well equipped property, with a nice outside space. I would definitely recommend and we hope to stay again soon.

We had a wonderful stay at 2 The Coach house. The welcome pack was a thoughtful added touch after such a long journey. Very clean, spacious apartment with comfy beds. Outside area lovely especially on a summers day with great sea views.

The property had everything you needed the garden was secure for our dog , the only downside was the busy road but after a couple of days we didn't really notice it , the walk down to the beach and st ives centre was probably about 10 mins , and the parking. was a bonus for 2 cars , we would stay again in this property, thankyou orange roofs your service was brilliant.

We've recently stayed in 2 The Coach house. The accommodation was clean bright and modern. Perfect all on one floor. Parking space was a bonus. There was a nice secure outside decked garden area with seating. Useful for our small dogs. The sofas were comfortable and beds. Infact the whole accommodation was well equipped. Loved the extra welcome pack touches - coffee pods /local apple juice /biscuits/ eggs/ fresh bread etc. We were aware that main road was near as could hear road noise traffic. It wouldn't deter us from staying again or recommending this property however. Great location. Nice to sea a glimpse of sea From property as well.

We recently stayed at the apartment at 2 The Coach House with our dog and found it very clean, comfortable and well equipped for our stay. It is close to the coastal path with excellent access to Porthminster beach. As stated on the property description, the bedrooms at the property do not have a lot of space, but we found there to be enough room for what we needed. The only slight downside is it's proximity to the main road into St Ives and the resultant traffic noise, which didn't really disturb us, but might be an issue for other people staying. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return again soon.

We absolutely loved staying in the coach house. The house itself was lovely and clean, well equipped and very secure for our dog. The outside space was perfect with a lovely view and the car parking space was just what we needed as St Ives streets are very narrow. Location great, lovely walk into the town but as St Ives is very hilly the walk back did provide some exercise. Would certainly be returning.

Lovely compact accommodation. Very modern -- comprehensive instructions for all the equipment/ white goods. Attractive patio, with furniture and glimpses of sea views. Good location to get into the town and down to the beach-- be prepared for a steep walk back! The only negative was the noise from the accommodation above, most of which was over the bedrooms, creating problems when sleeping. It was only very problematic one night and Orange Roofs spoke to the occupants which made it less noisy for the rest of our stay. I would book again but only if there was no one staying above!

We arrive at 2 coach house St Ives and we were very impressed with everything about the property. Clean , modern ,well looked after ! everything you needed was there . We will definitely be visiting the coach house again . Also when getting into the property essential items were left which was a lovely touch . So Thank you very Orange Roofs you also have been very helpful with any questions needed to be answered and emails was sent straight back . We was all very sad to leave St Ives it's such a beautiful place . I will be recommending the property to friends and family . Thank you ,

A lovely, modern holiday rental that has everything you would want for a week away!!! Really impressed with the high end decor & fixtures. Very enclosed for dogs to have outdoor space without a worry. BBQ on the patio would be an amazing addition as the outdoor space is fab. Only negative to be aware of is the noise of guests in the coach house above…was only an issue in the morning as our main bedroom was below their lounge & they clearly preferred to get up earlier than us!

Just returned from a week at 2 The Coach House. It was lovely, bright & well equipped. Sofas & bed super comfy. Location was perfect with Primrose Valley walk to town (or other way to Carbis Bay) on the doorstep. Lots of space & furniture on the terrace...perfect at all times of day inc sunrise over the sea. Orange Roofs really helpful at every stage & lots of updates. Would definitely book again & ideal for family breaks with no 1 as well.

Lovely appt ... 15 mins walk into st ives ...for couples or families with children who are ok with a slightly steep trek up from porthminster beach ... everything you need ... beautiful light space with decking ... plus private onsite parking for 2 cars .... loved it ... will return

Fantastic stay at 2 the coach house has everything u will ever need to make your stay so comfortable. Also has fantastic view just to top it off and dog friendly aswell . A little way out from the town but if u don't mind walking u will be fine . Our family will definitely be booking again as it was such a lovely holiday . Bathroom was fantastic with the best shower ever Bedrooms good size and also have televisions in them Kitchen equipped with all the latest cooking equipment Living room very good size and very comfortable Outside space fantastic and the views are breathtaking .
