Atlantic Blue

Atlantic Blue had everything we needed for a perfect holiday in St Ives with the added bonus of a view over Porthmeor Beach towards Clodgy Head. Excellent location with all facilities.

This is a fantastic apartment. Clean/modern and comfortable. Small mix up with the bed configuration but the problem was sorted the same day. Private car park is brilliant and easy to find and use. The apartment is only 5 min walk from fore street and the harbour. I found myself just sitting at the kitchen table staring out the window at the waves on the Porthmeor beach. The balcony up stairs is a lovely spot to watch the sunsets. Me and my kids hope to return asap to this dream apartment.

Our sixth visit to Atlantic Blue; as always it is a lovely property with great sea views. The owners always provide a nice welcome treat of wine and chocolate, it is always very clean with everything you could want for in the kitchen and very well furnished and has lots of lovely glass and art pieces. It is in a perfect location and the allocated parking space is a bonus in St Ives. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

Thank you for another perfect week at Atlantic Blue. The February weather was pretty wild but that really didn't matter with such lovely ocean views. The apartment is well equipped, well-appointed for doggy beach walks and a welcoming warm space to return to.

Atlantic Blue is becoming a home from home for us as we have taken vacation there so many times now. The property is an ideal size and layout. It has fantastic all day views from its elevated position. It's practically on the beach, close to other beaches and the town centre, along with secure covered parking - what else could be needed?!

I have used Orange Roofs before and always come back. Can't fault their excellent service. The accommodation was exactly as described and our few days by the beach was carefree and relaxing. Arriving on my birthday, the bottle of fizz was truly appreciated. Thank you.

Absolutely love staying here. This is our 4th year and have booked to stay again next year. The new kitchen was lovely, as well as the little welcome pack. Unfortunately due to the increased in price every year, as most properties in the area, we wont be able to stay at this property in the future if it continues to increase.

Another wonderful holiday in Atlantic Blue and this year a fabulous brand new kitchen, everything you could hope for, with luxury items including a quooker! Also upgrade on lighting very nice ambiance. After another day on beach we really appreciated the hot showers and huge fluffy white towels. Thank you to the owners for the welcome pack including a nice bottle of fizz - but hubby missed 'his' slab of chocolate. See you again next year

This is a great space with stunning views of porthmeor . The kitchen diner has the wow factor too. A quite location but very close to everything.

Atlantic Blue is a fabulous apartment. Everything is of the highest quality. The property must have been recently refurbished and the kitchen and bathroom is of the highest quality. The towels are by far the best we have ever had provided in an AirBnB style property. Everything has been thought of to make the stay pleasurable. Views from the dining table window and the terrace above are captivating and there is no real need to put shoes on throughout the stay as the beach is a very short walk. The gate to the building is locked at 2200 which adds to security. There are some slight improvements that could be made. I felt that the bed was a little shorter than standard. The terrace needs attention as does the table on it. The access is controlled by a key pad that is tricky to operate and definitely a two hander. Apart from that, the property is lovely and we will undoubtably return.

Lovely apartment with the most incredible views! We loved sitting out on the terrace watching the waves. Apartment is well equipped and comfortable, and perfectly located for quick dips in the sea. Only a very short and pleasant walk into town too.

Fantastic holiday flat We have been there many times and never been disappointed fantastic position overlooking surfer beach well maintained compound . This year the unit has a brand new kitchen of a very high standard Highly recommend

A lovely relaxing couple of weeks. Having stayed many times now, we still can't find any reason to try elsewhere, so are returning again next year - and for three weeks!!

This was our 3rd stay at Atlantic Blue and it certainly won't be the last.
The apartment is really comfortable and cosy, it has everything you need, the location is just perfect overlooking Porthmeor beach you can sit and watch the sea come in and out and watch the surfers, see the seals and on occasions see dolphins.
The apartment is ideally located to have a short stroll into the town and enjoy the many bars and restaurants.
Orange roofs as always are very helpful friendly and efficient.
Can't wait till we can return.

The views are spectacular and the apartment is always clean and well presented. This is my 4th year in this apartment and have booked for next year.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Atlantic View No. 26 Apartment. From the time we booked our holiday Orangeroofs provided a level of service that could not be faulted. Communication by phone and email was immediate and most informative. When we arrived at the property we found it to be very clean and well equipped and its position to the town and Porthmeor beach was perfect. The views from the apartment were spectacular.

We hope to book again soon.

My husband and I along with our dog had the most amazing 2 weeks at Atlantic Blue at the beginning of October this was our 3rd visit to this place. The apartment overlooking Porthmeor beach is just stunning, you can be sat eating breakfast at the kichen table looking out to sea with the big picturesque window open listening to the sound of the sea, or having a drink on the balcony watching surfers or seal spotting. The apartment has everything and more you could want. The bed is so comfortable and big, the bathroom is modern and has a big deep bath as well as a powerful shower. Needless to say we are booking for next year and it can't come quick enough.

We were there for nearly one week in september 22 and we had a fantastic time there. Really a great view, really near to the town centre. Everything in the apartment was working perfect, everything was there in the kitchen what we needed. The only criticism is the threat of punishment if you leave the apartment a little bit late on the departure day, especially that the departure time is 10´o clock. Also that we should leave the apartment "nice and tidy", we dont leave an apartment or a hotel room in a mess but we are not responsible for the room cleaning service and also again the threat of punishment. This doesn´t sound very hospitable for me. All in all a fantastic place and also the people at the orange roofs office were very very friendly on the phone.

I love staying at number 29 st Nicolas court. The owners are very nice and leave a wonderful welcome pack. The apartment is always clean and tidy.

We loved our stay in Atlantic Blue. What amazing views not only across to the sea and beach but also over the rooftops and beyond. The parking is so convenient and safe and no seagull droppings!! A very kind gift of prosecco, chocolate, milk and flowers were greatly appreciated. The apartment is very well thought out with a beautiful bathroom. We enjoyed using the Sonos which was a lovely bonus. The kitchen had everything we could have wished for- we even treated ourselves to a bread knife just like the one there it was so good! The bed linen and towels were of exceptional quality and I have to say what a comfy bed . Our 17 year son was with us and he LOVED the sofa bed in the living room upstairs. I really enjoyed it up on the balcony- just gazing out with a coffee in my hand and the sun on my face with a perfect breeze- what a treat. I can 100% recommend Atlantic Blue

Very impressed with Atlantic Blue, lovely decor, very well equipped but mainly it has fantastic views across Porthmoer. The balcony is a real sun trap and provides the perfect spot to watch the sunset. We could find nothing to fault, all in all a perfect holiday let.

In spite of some very crazy weather we had a fabulous time at Atlantic Blue. It is an ideal property for couples. We were greated with a lovely welcome card, custom Atlantic Blue chocolate, and a bottle of prosecco. The double bedroom is cosy, but the single beds in a king format were very comfortable as they came with a large topper. There are facilities for an additional bed in the lounge area should there be more than two guests staying. The bathroom is lovely with full Villeroy Boch suite and a great shower. Bedding and towels are also great. The kitchen has everything you are likely to need with plenty of cutlery, glasswear, and kitchen equipment. Parking is tight in the car park area in the lower floor of the building, but with a bit of manoeuvring you can even fit a reasonably large vehicle. That being said, it will not accommodate a roof box due to roof height, unless you have a smaller car and a low-profile roof box. Approx 1.9m clearance near the entrance. Though not indicated in the information provided, there are recycling facilities in the refuse area near the car park entrance. It would a helpful addition to have a recycling bin in the property to help with organising, but certainly not a must. One of the most wonderful things about the property is the location. Nestled on the edge of Porthmeor with views over the beach, the main harbour can be accessed in a matter of a few minutes walk, and it is a short walk to Tate St Ives. There is a great little roof terrace just off the lounge area on the top floor, which has fantastics over Porthmeor and St Ives. Whether sunrise or sunset, it will not disappointment. All-in-all it is a great property and would very much recommend. Highly likely we will be back if it is available.

Overlooking the fabulous Porthmeor Beach, the Atlantic Blue apartment is a perfect bolt hole for enjoying all there is on offer in St Ives. We love the beautiful bathroom and well appointed kitchen and spacious lounge. The bedroom is compact but has ample storage space. We always feel very comfortable when staying in this property and can't wait for our next visit to St Ives.

This was our second stay at Atlantic Blue and was postponed from 2020 due to Covid. The property is in an excellent location with the added bonus of a parking space. The level of cleanliness was good and most things were accommodated for, it is a very cosy property. We go to St Ives at least once a year so will definitely be booking again. Many thanks.

Orange Roofs were excellent in every way always keeping us informed on what was going on which wasn't easy in lockdown with all the constant changes that were going on , I would definitely book through them again. Our second visit to Atlantic Blue booked at short notice when hubby's 'big' birthday trip overseas was cancelled. We had a fabulous time the apartment its so well located just couple of flights of steps and your on one of Stives best beaches, what a view watching surfers from sun up to sun down and amazing sunsets. Parking and dog friendly it ideal, booked again for next year

Can’t complain at all about the service received from Orange Roofs. From our booking till the end we were kept informed throughout the customer journey. Detailed instruction on how to get to the apartment were very helpful. Upon arrival, the apartment was clean, tidy, and very welcoming, there was also a nice bottle of Prosecco for us to enjoy! We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, and with 2 young children and a stones throw away from the beach what more could we ask for? We will definitely be using Orange Roofs again! Thank you to those who made our stay very comfortable!

Our first time in this property and it was everything you said and more from the welcome pack including fizz , local chocolate to the personalized greeting card. But the location now that was something else, on the beach with the most amazing views and sunsets , we spent many hours just sat watching beach life. The apartment was dog friendly so we all enjoyed walks on the island and the harbour (once the tide was out) And finally the service from Orange roofs above and beyond lots of e-mails giving great useful information and even a phone call to confirm and welcome us - we will be booking next year.

Atlantic Blue was such a special find and what a fabulous week we had. The weather was amazing, glorious sunshine every day and with it being a quieter time of year, having the beach virtually to ourselves and our dog still being allowed on all of them made everything perfect. Atlantic Blue was scrupulously clean, warm and bright. On arrival our bottle of Prosecco, vase of daffodils and the gorgeous chocolate was such a lovely way to welcome us. The location could not have been better, ideal for Porthmeor Beach yet only a few minutes walk away from town. We usually stay harbour-side but have found it quite noisy at times, however, waking up naturally to the sound of the waves at high tide definitely helped recharge the batteries. Atlantic Blue had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We loved the artwork, particularly the Tracy Goldsmith painting. The lighting was very tasteful and the amazing shower .... I'm going to miss it!! The views from the balcony, particularly at sunset, just topped everything off. This dog friendly apartment was a little treasure and we will definitely return. Thank you Orange Roofs for your smooth organisation throughout, you can really tell that you care about your customers.

This being our second stay at Atlantic Blue, and our third already booked - The Property, it’s location, along with the hands-on service and support from the Orange Roofs team..... enables all elements of our holidays to blend perfectly. This is a fantastic property, perfectly located for a beach holiday whilst remaining close to all other amenities. It even has secure undercover parking. The view across the beach, town, and headland can be enjoyed from the cooking/dining area, and longe area with patio...... the surf, horizon, sky, (orange roofs!) coast line, setting sun, and emerging stars.... it’s hards to leave, it’s too long before you return! We spent four wonderful weeks in St. Ives and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The "Atlantic Blue" was just perfect . Back at home we already miss the view from the apartment over Porthmeor Beach where we went surfing very often. We would love to come back to St. Ives in the future and would definitely try to book the Atlantic Blue again.

We had a wonderful holiday at Atlantic Blue. The apartment was immaculately clean and well presented on arrival with everything thought through and ready for us. The bathroom and kitchen are both modern and well equipped and the apartment has what can only be described as magnificent views over Porthmeor Beach from the kitchen and top floor roof terrace. The main bedroom is very comfortable with super linen etc and there is also a good quality sofa bed in the upstairs sitting room. An added bonus was having our own dedicated car park space in the private and secure basement garage. The apartment is very well located and once we parked our car we had no further need for it with everything being within easy walking distance. Highly recommended and we plan to return.

This is a lovely, comfortable flat in an amazing location with stunning views over Porthmeor. But it was not clean when we arrived. The previous occupant had a dog and there was lots of pet hair covering the furniture, bedding and floors. The kitchen table and worktops also hadn't been properly cleaned; there were lots of crumbs and a taxi receipt. Although Orange Roofs got a cleaner to come back very quickly to re-clean, there needs to be a much more rigorous quality control before guests arrive. ORANGE ROOFS MANAGEMENT COMMENT: We are very sorry that you found the apartment in such a state, this has not happened before and we were as disappointed as you in the housekeeping standards. We outsource housekeeping to Sandy Toes and part of their service level agreement to Orange Roofs is the head housekeeper and business owner personally checks all of her cleans and have have trusted in good faith her standards of cleaning remain consistently high. When you reported the next day how bad the apartment was, she assured us that had done a check. A member of Orange Roofs had visited the apartment the same day to do the condition check (which is not to check housekeeping but to check the condition of the apartment and visually record this) and had considered the clean incomplete but was assured that a check would be taking place. We are very disappointed that this did not happen and that Sandy Toes failed to provide the high standards we are used to expecting from them. We have received an apology from the business owner and have been assured that it was a one off mistake. Going forward, Orange Roofs will be taking steps to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained week after week throughout the year and will constantly be looking at how to personalise and improve on each guests' experience.

Atlantic Blue is situated on the top floor of the St Nicholas complex. Steps up are not steep and are on several levels so that access is not difficult. The apartment itself has been modernised and has a fantastic bathroom with heated towel rail and sound system. The bedroom is a bit on the small side but there is a magnificently comfortable super king size bed to compensate. It would be absolutely brilliant if there was a washing machine / tumble dryer actually in the apartment, rather than coin fed machines available on the bottom floor. The sofa bed is sturdy with an excellent mattress which makes it suitable for adults (not just children). Views over the sea from the kitchen windows and the upstairs balcony are magnificent. Having an allocated car space in the safe and secure underground parking is a real bonus. Access to living accommodation from the garage is not difficult. Within easy walking distance of beaches, shops and restaurants. I would happily recommend this lovely apartment. We felt very relaxed and had a wonderful holiday week in Atlantic Blue.
