About Coastal Seascape

In light of the COVID-19 virus, we want to reassure you that this St Ives self-catering property is disinfected (hard surfaces and soft furnishings) after each guest stay. Please note that until we can resume normal service, check in time is 5pm and check out is 9am. Coastal Seascape is one of a few beautiful holiday homes in St Ives that offers sea views overlooking the St Ives harbour and Godrevy Lighthouse from one direction and the much-loved seascape that washes up to Porthmeor Beach and Clodgy Point’s coastal cliffs neighbouring it, from the other direction. St Ives sea views are an absolute must for many visiting Cornwall, however, at Coastal Seascape, you are offered much more than this as everything has been taken into consideration to ensure you have a warm and comfortable stay. Coastal Seascape is a top floor apartment that expands over two floors. This sea view apartment has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a separate living area (where you can sit and gaze over Porthmeor!), as well as a well-equipped kitchen/ dining room. This property also has an allocated parking space provided for the duration of your holiday. The parking space is located just over half a mile away from the property, which is approximately a 12-minute walk away, however, you are able to pull up outside of the property to unload your belongings first.

Whether you're looking to stay at this luxury sea view apartment for a short break out of season or a wonderfully long, relaxed fortnight in the Summer, Coastal Seascape is a great place for you to stay and enjoy St Ives and West Cornwall. The property is a modern and newly converted, traditional, Cornish home. During its renovations, the owners put in every effort to ensure the property offers everything you may need for a welcome and relaxed stay in St Ives. As you enter the property, you have a flight of stairs to walk up. Here you access the first floor where you'll find the kitchen and dining area at the rear of the house. The kitchen in stylish and well equipped with integrated appliances. The kitchen is a light room with a dining table that comfortably seats 6 guests.

On the same floor, but at the front of the house, you will find the living room. This area offers you an elegant combination of the traditional Cornish granite and modern style. Here you will get to enjoy the expansive sea views this St Ives apartment has to offer, giving you a great place to sit and decide whether it's a beach day in the summer, or somewhere to curl up and enjoy the wild weather in the winter. For that exact occasion, Coastal Seascape has a wood burner, so you're truly able to enjoy your stay no matter the weather, no matter the season.

In the central area of the first floor, you will find the double bedroom, twin bedroom and the family bathroom. This bathroom has a bath and shower over, a WC and wash basin.

To reach the master bedroom, there is another flight of stairs to climb (there is a handrail also). This top floor bedroom provides you with the dual aspect of the expansive sea views, allowing you to gaze over to Godrevy Lighthouse from one window and the sea from Porthmeor Beach out of the other window. The master bedroom has a super king bed as well as its own en-suite shower room with a WC and wash basin.

Whilst staying at Coastal Seascape, you are just a matter of moments away from Porthmeor Beach, it is a couple of minutes' walk from the front door to the sand. At Porthmeor Beach you will also find one of the most sought-after restaurants in St Ives, Porthmeor Beach Café. This excellent restaurant, perched on the edge of the sand, provides some of the most breath-taking views of the beach, making it a hugely popular destination. However, its biggest focal point is its breakfast, lunch and dinner food, renowned for its excellence paired with great service. To the West side of Porthmeor beach, you will find Porthmeor West. There is limited seating and a takeaway service. Here you'll find their deli, fresh coffee, pizzas and baked treats!

The iconic Tate St Ives is also just a few moments' walk from Coastal Seascape as is the Barbara Hepworth museum. These are two very frequently visited attractions In St Ives. Due to the apartment's location, very near to the centre of town, it is a few minutes downhill walk to reach Fore Street where you will find the majority of the shops in St Ives, as well as the harbour front where there are many cafés and restaurants for you to leisurely stroll by and enjoy the view.

There are many outdoor, seaside and national trust locations for you to enjoy just a short drive from Coastal Seascape, or if you're feeling brave you can enjoy the long coastal walk from St Ives to Zennor! However, here's a few of a favourite National Trust location; St Michaels Mount, Godrevy, Porthcurno and Trengwainton Garden. Your nearest golf course to Coastal Seascape is West Cornwall Golf Club in Lelant.

As we have mentioned, there is one parking space provided for Coastal Seascape, this is located at the St Ives Rugby Club where there is a generous, allocated space for your entire holiday. However, if you are bringing a second car with you, there is a St Ives Council car park located just opposite the property. If you are travelling by train, the station is between a 10 to 15 minute walk away and just a couple of minutes in a taxi.

Coastal Seascape is a lovely apartment overlooking Porthmeor Beach with superb facilities, furnished to a very high standard. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with everything you need for a holiday home even down to the hairdryer with diffuser, which impressed my nieces who have curly hair. It's worth mentioning that the stairs up to the attic room were quite steep and narrow with no hand rail in places which were a struggle for my 79 yr old mother. Also the car park space included is a 15 minute walk away and all uphill which is inconvenient if you want to use your car frequently during your stay. All in all though I would thoroughly recommend Coastal Seascape and would definitely stay there again.

We were amazed at the quality of everything in the apartment, comfy beds, great showers, beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. Loads of crockery, cutlery & mugs meaning that you didn't have to wash & re-use all the time. Lovely selection of quality glasses. The lounge is stunning, the log burner a fab addition too. We really appreciated the effort that had been put in to make the place both stylish and comfortable. The TV and music player excellent. The location is brilliant, close to the coast and right in the town, you can see the sea from the lounge & master bedroom. Totally quiet for sleeping though, the best of all worlds. We were fortunate and were able to park at the property (thank you) as the ground floor apartment was empty and so can't comment on the parking provided our apartment. We did have a problem with the boiler (due to extreme weather) which was sorted out promptly. How problems are dealt with is often the test of any rental and Orange Roofs definitely passed that test! Would not hesitate to stay again.

As lovely as it gets. Been visiting st Ives for over 20 years and this is the best place we have stayed in. Very efficient team/communication. Great to have off-site parking. Beautiful view over Porthmeor Beach. Very tastefully furnished and decorated. Everything you could wish for.

We spent a few wonderful days in Coastal Seascape. The apartment is lovely, comfortable and welcoming. So much care has been taken to ensure visitors have everything they could possibly need in this very high spec property. The location of the property is great, a short walk downhill to the sea front and Tate St Ives and into the town centre. It has great views of the sea, the hills and the coastline. You can spend hours in the window seats watching the world go by! Although the parking space for this property is approximately 7 minutes away on foot, it is a very pleasant walk. Parking in St Ives can be very difficult, so it is a real asset to have a reserved space. We cannot recommend this amazing apartment highly enough and we look forward to returning.

What an amazing week. So lucky to have a such stunning blue skies in mid-September and our stay in your beautiful appartment couldn't have been better. A great location, the appartment is furnished and finished to the highest standard and we loved the views. A few highlights of the week include lawn bowls overlooking the beach, the costal path walks and a trip to Carbis bay hotel. Cant wait for another week of oysters, pasties and champagne next year.

This property is exceptinally clean and comfortable. There were 5 of us staying. It was perfect. The position, above the beach, is extremely convenient for getting to the town centre or straight down to the coast (4 min walk). The service from Orange roofs was 100% great. We'd definitely return!
