About Coastal Seascape
There are few holiday homes in St Ives that have rooftop views looking over to St Ives harbour and Godrevy Lighthouse plus uninterrupted views of the seascape that washes up along Clodgy Point coastal cliffs and Porthmeor beach. Coastal Seacape, perhaps aptly named, offers you this plus a very warm and comfortable welcome. This top floor apartment is over two floors and has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a separate living area with sea views and a well-equipped kitchen/ dining room. A private parking space is provided for the duration of your holiday and is just half a mile from the apartment (you are able to pull up outside to unload first!).
Coastal Seascape is a modern and newly converted traditional St Ives holiday home where every effort has been invested by the owners to offer a super welcome and a relaxed stay whether it is for a short break out of season or a fortnight of bliss during the summer. The master bedroom is reached by a staircase with handrail, and the views that welcome you are definitely worth the climb to the top floor. This room offers the dual aspect views over the rooftops to Godrevy Lighthouse and, on the other side of the room, the vast sea from Porthmeor beach. It has its own en-suite shower room with WC and wash basin and you get to sleep in a huge super king size bed.
The kitchen, which is at the back of the house, is stylishly well-equipped with integrated appliances. It has a dining table that seats six comfortably and is light and bright. The living room at the front of the house is a wonderful mix of traditional Cornish granite and stylish elegance with super sea views. For the chillier winter evenings, light the wood burner and snuggly gaze at the sun setting over the headland and sea beyond. In between the kitchen and the living areas is a double room, twin bedroom as well as a family bathroom with bath and shower over, WC and wash basin.
Porthmeor Beach is just minutes from Coastal Seascape following a public footpath just outside the front door. The iconic Tate museum is also moments away as is the Barbara Hepworth museum and the cobbled, shop-lined Fore Street. St Ives' choice of water front restaurants are within easy walking distance as are all five of the soft sandy beaches.
As already mentioned, the parking for Coastal Seascape is very nearby and is an approximate eight-minute walk away and, if you wanted to park a second car, Barnoon public car park is very conveniently opposite the apartment. If you decide to leave the car at home, St Ives train station is a ten-minute walk away or just a few minutes in a taxi.
