What a hidden gem The Garden House was!! - a quiet oasis in a sometimes hectic St Ives. We had a wonderful weeks stay in July and were spoilt both by the weather & the private garden space. A fantastic base for exploring the streets, beaches and the all delights St Ives has to offer - all minutes walk from The Garden House - we will definitely be returning!

A wonderful house in the perfect location in St Ives. Parking space is very useful, beds and lounge very comfortable. Good size outdoor space. Dog friendly, perfect for our small dog.

Excellent property & very central. The garden area was a perfect escape and very quiet! Would highly recommend!

Perfect positioned house, as long as you can do the unloading and steps, but once in brilliant!

We had a great week back in St Ives. We've booked with Orange Roofs several times and we're always pleased with the service and quality of the homes. The Garden House was lovely. Comfortable beds. Large kitchen and good water pressure in the showers. There is a lot of steps though so might not suit families with older parents or toddlers. The house is really close to the St Ives amenities and some great morning coffee watching the sun rise.

Great location (if you can manage steps), and a bonus that it has a parking space nearby. House is super equipped with everything you need and the beds are the comfiest we've ever stayed in! The house is light, bright and has a lovely feel. Orange roofs communication was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

What a lovely house! This worked perfectly for my partner and I and our two children. Super bright and in excellent condition throughout! We will definitely look to rent it out again if possible when we come back to St Ives in a couple of years. Thank you!

Lovely property very clean and great location. Perhaps air conditioning would be beneficial. As the property has glazed roof and doors the sunshine made the accommodation very hot even with the fan you kindly provided. Kind regards Steve Taylor

A wonderful property in a great location. Ideal place to get to the beaches, shops and pubs. The outdoor shower is ideal to get sand off and it is a lovely area to sit. We received a lovely welcome pack of goodies. The beds were very comfortable. Very clean with everything we needed. The bedrooms are downstairs which helped keep them cool on hot days. Highly recommend.

Lovely house, peaceful location just off main shopping street with the bonus of a small outdoor garden space. Our second stay. For anyone with mobility issues the steps up to property could be an issue. The only negative is there is a small area of disused land next to entrance gate which has rubbish dumped on it and an eye sore as you walk to the property.

MANAGEMENT COMMENT: Orange Roofs and the owner of The Garden House are in the process of getting the waste removed despite asking the owner of the land multiple times to get it removed unsuccessfully. 

This house is beautiful with a lovely decked outside space. Very comfortable lounge with smart TV. There are two modern bathrooms and a large well stocked family kitchen with goodies on arrival. Great location 1 min away from the beach front and all amenities. Parking space nearby a bonus. Orange Roofs have great communications, are very polite, helpful and on hand should the need arise. Would definitely return to this property.

The Garden House is a beautiful property in a quiet but very central location. It was spotlessly clean on our arrival and the welcome pack was gratefully received. We will definitely be using Orange Roofs again.

The Garden House was perfect in every way. Extremely clean and modern, the location was fantastic and the added bonus of parking and a garden. Would love to stay again and would definitely recommend Orange Roofs.

Wonderful House, immaculately clean, tucked away but so close to everything. Lovely welcome hamper. Comfy beds. Lovely outdoor space. We would definitely stay again and I would highly recommend the house! There were a lot of steps both to the property and within, this added to its charm, but just be aware if you need to consider access for anyone staying there.

Fantastic stay at the Garden House. We loved the location and the added gem of a private outside seating area. Orange Roofs are an excellent company.

We had a wonderful holiday at The Garden House. Although situated off the busy Fore Street, the house and garden was a haven of peace and quiet. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was spacious and had had everything needed. Bathrooms were lovely. The bedrooms were tastefully decorated and beds very comfortable. The passageway off Fore Street to enter the property is quite steep and has quite a few steps. We managed by getting a taxi from Fore Street to take our luggage to and from the property but even so we had to carry it up and down the steep passageway. This may prove very difficult for elderly or disabled guests. The car parking space at the Rugby club was a bonus.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Garden House. We have been coming to St Ives for many years so know the place well and have stayed in lots of properties.

This property in particular is the most spacious we've ever stayed in, right in the heart of St Ives. It was perfect for our family of four, with two teenage boys and small dog.

The added addition of the garden was wonderful, it contributed to the overall relaxing atmosphere of the house.

The house itself is tucked away off of Fore St, and is an oasis of calm and tranquility. It's situated in a fantastic, traffic free location but very close to everything. The upstairs of the house is flooded with light, and the decor is neutral and pretty. The bedrooms are located downstairs which makes the rooms very quiet and perfect for sleeping in.

Also wanted to add that the staff at Orange Roofs are exceptional. We had to change our original booking and they were fantastic to deal with. I had complete confidence in them all the way through.
They work to high standards at all times.

The bedrooms are spacious, immaculately clean, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, giving us both restful nights sleep after our active days exploring the St Ives cobblestone streets, vibrant art scene, and breathtaking coastal views.

What can we say?! The Garden House is a hidden gem that offers an exceptional blend of comfort, convenience and calm. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway, a peaceful retreat, or a classic family holiday, this charming holiday home is the perfect choice. We left with hearts full of wonderful memories and a strong desire to return. Highly recommended!
