About Bosullow

Bosullow is a beautifully presented three-bedroom holiday cottage in the heart of Downalong, St Ives, sleeping up to six guests. Set on Back Road East, this welcoming self-catering cottage is just a few minutes’ walk from St Ives Harbour Beach and Porthmeor Beach, with shops, cafés, restaurants and galleries all close by. With a comfortable living space, well-equipped kitchen, family bathroom, en-suite shower room, additional en-suite WC and allocated parking at St Ives Rugby Club, Bosullow is an ideal choice for families or couples wanting a central St Ives holiday cottage close to the coast.

Kitchen & Dining

The cheerful kitchen is bright and well equipped for a self-catering holiday in St Ives, with yellow cabinetry, granite worktops and a Belfast sink.

Integrated appliances include a fridge-freezer, slimline dishwasher, washing machine and oven. There is also an induction hob with four cooking zones and an integrated extractor fan.

A Quooker tap provides instant hot water, while a Bosch coffee machine makes morning coffees easy. A kettle, iron and ironing board are also provided.

The adjoining dining area has a solid wooden table with built-in bench seating and a separate bench, creating a cosy space for meals together. A built-in dresser houses crockery and glassware, while an under-stairs cupboard provides useful extra storage for groceries.

Living

The living area is designed for relaxed evenings after a day exploring St Ives.

A generous and extremely comfortable sofa provides plenty of space to settle down with a book or watch television, while the open-plan layout keeps the living, dining and kitchen spaces sociable and welcoming.

The cottage has been styled to feel warm and homely, making it equally suited to summer beach holidays and quieter breaks throughout the year.

Bedrooms

Bosullow has three comfortable bedrooms arranged across the first and top floors.

On the first floor are two double bedrooms, one of which has its own en-suite WC and wash basin.

The top floor has a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room.

Each bedroom has either a built-in or freestanding wardrobe, along with a chest of drawers, bedside tables with reading lamps and a television.

Bathrooms

The cottage has a family bathroom, an en-suite shower room and an additional en-suite WC with wash basin.

The family bathroom is located on the first floor and has a bath with shower over, wash basin and WC.

The top-floor king-size bedroom has its own en-suite shower room.

One of the first-floor double bedrooms also has an en-suite WC and wash basin.

Outdoor Space

Bosullow has a private seating area at the front of the cottage.

It is a pleasant spot for a morning coffee or an early evening drink while watching the world go by.

An outside tap and hose are also provided, making it easy to rinse sandy feet and wetsuits after returning from the beach.

Parking

Guests have use of one allocated parking space at St Ives Rugby Club, approximately a twenty-minute walk from the cottage.

This provides the convenience of guaranteed parking during your stay, particularly valuable during busier periods in St Ives.

A seasonal shuttle bus operates between St Ives Rugby Club and the Porthmeor Beach area during the main holiday season, providing an alternative to walking.

Close to Beach

Bosullow is ideally located for enjoying the beaches and attractions of central St Ives.

St Ives Harbour Beach and Porthmeor Beach can both be reached within a few minutes on foot, making it easy to return to the cottage if you have forgotten something or simply want a break from the beach.

Porthmeor is particularly popular for surfing, while the harbourfront offers shops, cafés, restaurants and boat trips.

Fore Street, Tate St Ives and the town's many independent galleries and shops are also within easy walking distance.

Access

Bosullow is arranged over three floors.

The kitchen, dining and living areas are on the ground floor.

A carpeted staircase with a rope bannister leads to the first floor, where there are two double bedrooms and the family bathroom.

A further staircase leads to the top-floor king-size bedroom and en-suite shower room.

Guests should therefore be comfortable using stairs throughout their stay.

Another marvellous stay with Orange Roofs. Bosullow was a treat; great location, very well appointed and with the usual very high quality support from the Orange Roofs team. A very comfortable house. Great beds and bedding, super-comfy giant sofa! The fixtures and fittings are very high quality, which gave us a lovely environment to relax in. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen/diner, as well as eating out. It was also lovely to have a coffee in the little front yard. The house is very well located, just minutes from the harbour and from Porthmeor. It was great to have allocated parking, with a bus twice/ hour to take us up to the rugby club. N.b., the first bus was at 10.10am on our last week, so don't plan to rush and be somewhere early! Thanks again, a great stay.

Welcome pack: Unexpected but lovely surprise Location: Back Road East - close to all beaches, Porthgwidden and Porthmeor the closest, perfect location Cottage: Absolutely stunning, layout, finish, decor, Cornish touches. Plenty of space and equipped with pretty much everything you could want for a family of 6 Car parking: Parking space allocated at the Rugby Club, this was welcomed and actually although a 20 minute walk down to the cottage, was good to get your steps in & could be a bit of a family game to find the quickest way down each time, picturesque cottages on the way down too. Payable shuttle bus both ways (last one about 7pm though). Island car park also only 2 mins away which charges £29.50 per week Value for money: Good value for time of year Contact with agent/owner: No problems & very easy accessible when we needed in an emergency Would we rent again: Definitely, it's the best accommodation I've rented in St Ives and I've rented a lot

We had a wonderful few days at Bosullow. Beautiful cottage and immaculate. So quiet despite being in a busy, bustling town. Only a few minutes walk from Porthmeor beach, and to the centre of St Ives. The customer service from Orange Roofs was amazing. We will definitely stay again.

We have stopped in St Ives six times with our two children over the years. This place has definitely been the most stylish. Everything that was in the house was of the highest standard. Great attention to detail, and the finish everywhere is exceptional. Really enjoyed our stay.
