Let us walk you through this gorgeous holiday home in Carbis Bay and share all the reasons why we love it and think you will too. 1 Moonrakers is a modern, super well-equipped home that can sleep up to six people. It can comfortably accommodate three couples with the first floor master bedroom having a super king size bed, en-suite shower room, TV and access via tri-fold doors onto the top sun deck and hot tub. There are two further bedrooms on the ground floor; one can either be set up as a super king size bed (in width) or a twin bedroom configuration. The third bedroom has a double bed and both ground floor bedrooms share the family bathroom on the ground floor. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over, wash basin and WC. Connect your music to the bathroom mirror via bluetooth and sing your hearts out in the shower.

The kitchen is towards the back of the house but, with its doors wide open, it looks through the living and dining area out onto the huge decked terrace and the incredible sea views beyond. The only rooms not to have the breath-taking sea views are the two bathrooms and the double bedroom meaning the rest of the house will certainly WOW you! The kitchen has a calming colour scheme and is exceptionally well-equipped with built-in appliances such as two ovens, an induction hob and dishwasher as well as a large fridge/ freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Wake up and pad barefoot into the kitchen over the gorgeous parquet floor and make yourself a coffee using a Nespresso coffee-maker while gazing dreamily out to sea. What a blissful start to your day! 

The living room has a 70 inch TV with a surround sound speaker and a huge sofa which beckons you onto its sumptuous and wonderfully comfortable cushions. Whatever the weather outside, the views from the sofa are simply incredible and you'll be hard pressed to want to leave it. The tri-fold doors can be peeled back to let the outside in where, coffee cup in hand (or a cold Aperol Spritz!), you can step onto the sunbaked decking, sink into the outside sofa cushions and soak up the 180 degrees of awe-inspiring sea views. The dining table, that sits just inside the tri-fold doors, has to offer up the best dining views ever. It seats six comfortably on tan leather padded seats meaning, well after the food is finished, you will enjoy hours of conversation and relaxation gazing out to sea as the evening closes.   

Both sun decks are exactly that; bathed in sunshine all day long! On the lower deck, you will find a large sofa with cushions and a table with plenty of space to walk around or allow your little ones to play safely behind strengthened glass balustrades. The top sun deck, accessed via the master bedroom, has the six person hot tub as well as two sun loungers. Each of the sun decks are transformed into tranquil and romantic settings in the evening with outside lighting and of course, the ultimate backdrop of the sea views! There is an extra fee to use the hot tub per week and that is £350 per week.

An outside shower allows guests to wash off sunscreen, sea salt and sand before heading indoors to relax. The parking space for one car is directly outside 1 Moonrakers with around 15 steps down to the front door. The steps have a small retaining wall on either side to hold onto if a less-abled person needs access to the front door. 

One small, very well-mannered, trained and educated dog is welcome at 1 Moonrakers not to exceed 12kgs in weight. 

To re-cap, this amazing holiday home in Carbis Bay sleeps six people in three bedrooms and has two bathrooms. It has an allocated parking space for one car and the coastal path to St Ives' beaches, restaurants, cafes, bars, galleries and shops is a very short distance away. There is a hot tub for six people and this can be arranged for an additional £350 per week or £260 for 3 to 5 night breaks. Towels for the hot tub are included. We are sorry but there is no high chair, travel cot or stair gates at this property but a travel cot and high chair can be rented locally.
