About Bosullow

Bosullow is a beautiful St Ives holiday cottage in the heart of Downalong, St Ives. It sleeps six in three super comfortable bedrooms and has the added benefit of an ensuite with shower room, a family bathroom (with bath and shower over) and also an ensuite WC with wash basin. The owners have created a warm and welcoming cottage for families and couples seeking a St Ives retreat. The living room has a generous sofa where the order of the day is loafing in style! The kitchen and living/ dining room are on the ground floor level and a carpeted staircase, with rope bannister, leads you to the first floor with two double bedrooms (one of which has the ensuite WC and washbasin) and the family bathroom. Another staircase leads you to the top floor where there is a king size bedroom with an ensuite shower room. Bosullow offers its guests an allocated parking space at St Ives Rugby Club avoiding the stress and strain of finding parking during the busier months between April to November as well as Christmas and New Year.

This perfect St Ives cottage is on Back Road East so is in the very heart of the harbour town of St Ives. The nearest beaches are Harbour Beach, lined with shops, cafes and restaurants, and Porthmeor Beach, which is the best beach to visit for surfing. Both take just minutes to arrive at, so very convenient to pop in and out of the cottage if you’ve forgotten your suncream!

Bosullow has a private area at the front of the cottage to sit out and enjoy a morning coffee or a pre-dinner G&T while watching the world go by. It has an outside tap and hose so brilliant for washing off sandy feet and rinsing wetsuits. St Ives holidays at Bosullow will mean you are in the centre of St Ives action yet far enough away from pubs and restaurants so, you will enjoy a peaceful night's sleep until the seagulls announce the start of the next day. The kitchen, a cheerful and summery yellow with a granite worktop and Belfast sink, is well-equipped and has integrated appliances; fridge/ freezer, a slimline dishwasher, a washing machine and oven. The induction hob has four cooking positions and an in-built extractor fan. A Quooker tap provides instant hot water and enjoy coffee at a push of a button using the Bosch coffee machine. There is a kettle if using the Quooker is not your thing as well as an iron and ironing board. Guests can sink into an incredibly comfortable sofa to watch TV and a solid wooden table with built in bench and a stand alone bench provide the cosy dining space. A built-in dresser houses the crockery and glasses for your stay and a clever under-stair cupboard provides an extra larder space for the weekly shop. In each of the bedrooms, there are either built-in wardrobes or a stand alone wardrobe, chest of drawers, TVs and bedside tables with reading lamps. There are two double bedrooms and one king size bedroom so it's a great cottage for couple friends sharing or older families of four.

St Ives in Cornwall is such a perfect location for a getaway any time of the year. It has five beaches to enjoy, independent shops, cafes and restaurants as well as many galleries including the infamous Tate St Ives. The walking around St Ives and its coastline is truly stupendous and the views as well as the incredibly special light in St Ives is well worth booking a holiday for. West Cornwall has lots to see and do ranging from surfing, photography, kayaking, horse-riding, boat trips and so much more. We have written guides and blogs sharing what our beautiful county has to offer and you can find this under St Ives Holidays - Helpful Guides on our website.

To recap: Bosullow is a St Ives holiday cottage in the heart of Downalong on Back Road East. It sleeps six in three bedrooms and has an ensuite shower room, a family bathroom and an ensuite WC with wash basin. We had a wonderful few days at Bosullow. Beautiful cottage and immaculate. So quiet despite being in a busy, bustling town. Only a few minutes walk from Porthmeor beach, and to the centre of St Ives. The customer service from Orange Roofs was amazing. We will definitely stay again.

Immaculate town house in a quiet street right in the heart of St Ives. We loved our stay here - from the comfy sofas to the well equipped kitchen and lovely modern decor throughout. Everything was considerately planned and great service from Orange Roofs.

We have stopped in St Ives six times with our two children over the years. This place has definitely been the most stylish. Everything that was in the house was of the highest standard. Great attention to detail, and the finish everywhere is exceptional. Really enjoyed our stay.
