About Sea Spirit
Even the best wordsmith would struggle to describe just how fabulous an apartment Sea Spirit is. Not only to portray its calm, stylish yet comfortingly casual interior finish but the views that strike awe in the most collected of people. We think that the best way to describe the views is through the lens. Even then, they just don't seem to do the incredible, constantly changing views of St Ives justice. For centuries artists have come to St Ives for its unique light and spectacular coastal scenery. Being as far South West as you can get, the climate is milder and the daylight hours in both summer and winter are longer, so you will see why artists fell in love with scenes that Sea Spirit offers from sunrise to moonrise.
One such artist 'Whistler' lived just a few doors away from Sea Spirit back in the 19th Century and, while he wintered in St Ives, he 'daubed' restless seas on the inner lids of cigar boxes. You too will quickly fall in love with the views whether it's stormy seas in the middle of winter or the sun bouncing off the orange lichen covered roofs of St Ives reflecting in the mirror glass calm harbour during the summer.
Having been renovated to a very high standard, the accommodation is warm, comfortable and modern. There are two bedrooms at the rear of the apartment both with their own ensuite shower rooms. There is a double bed in one of the rooms and a zip and link bed in the other that can either be two 3ft single beds or a super king size bed. The kitchen has integrated appliances including a washing machine and dishwasher as well as a large fridge/ freezer, oven and induction hob. The dining table also speaks volumes from the photos; it has to be one of the best dining views of St Ives!
If you can tear yourself away from the view, the living room has two comfortable sofas for stretching out and relaxing while reading or watching your favourite programme on the Smart TV.
As Sea Spirit is on the top floor of the building, there are a couple of flights of internal stairs so is not ideal for younger children or anyone not able to cope with too many steps.
The stroll into town takes no more than a few minutes and you can pop out either at Barbara Hepworths' museum, Fore Street shops or opposite Porthmeor beach. The nearest public car park is at Barnoon which is just a couple of minutes' away on foot.
One allocated parking space provided for your exclusive use (half a mile from Sea Spirit, around 12 minutes' walk at most).
