About Zennor

'Zennor' (3 Porthmeor Apartments) is a beautifully finished and cared for apartment which gives a warm and generous welcome. Every effort and thought has gone into making sure you have everything to make it a special break away whether it's a short break as a couple during the quieter months or your annual family summer holiday.

'Zennor' is just 150 metres from Porthmeor beach which, via steps very close to to the apartment, you walk down directly to the beach passing the The newly completed and extended Tate Gallery on your right.

The apartment is all on one level (with only a couple of steps up to the front door) so perfect for those who don't want to face too many steps once inside your holiday home. With an open plan living room (with the sea glimpses!), super equipped kitchen and dining area with seating for 6, you will feel instantly at ease and comfortable in the living space. Off the living area/ hallway, you have two bedrooms and a Jack and Jill bathroom. One of the bedrooms is a twin and has an en-suite shower, wash basin and toilet and the other is a king size bedroom. The Jack and Jill element is a door leading from the king size bedroom creating an en-suite and then a door enters the bathroom from the hallway too. This bathroom has a bath with shower over, wash basin and toilet.

The kitchen has an integrated AEG fridge and freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher and electric oven with five gas hobs. If you are a coffee lover then you really will love our Nespresso coffee machine! We provide chef standard knives and cooking equipment so if you don't fancy eating out all of the time, and one of you loves to cook while the other watches, we have it all to hand for your masterchef challenge!

Each room has a TV/DVD so if you each prefer to watch something different, we've made that easy for you too. The living area TV is a Smart one, so with the complimentary WiFi we offer, you are free to browse and choose to watch Netflex, BBC iPlayer, 4OD as well as check your mail or share your experiences on Facebook. For music lovers, we have a DAB Radio and iPod docking station as well as books and games to enjoy whilst listening to your favourite tunes.

You are provided with super soft bed linen and towels and ladies, you don't have to bring your hairdryer as we have that covered too. For the young ones (we have a few in our family!), we can get you a travel cot on request, there is a high chair and also there is a cupboard just to the side of the apartment where you can help yourself to beach goodies during your holiday. If you do have any requests, then please do let us know when booking, we will try our very best to help.

Oct 2018 We’ve just returned from our stay at Zennor in St Ives and couldn’t be more happy. Firstly the communication regarding our booking was excellent including clear instructions and helpful tips. The apartment itself was clean, spacious and not only well equipped but equipped to a high standard. With beach towels, beach bags, deckchairs and wind breaks all provided it meant much less packing. Everywhere is hilly in St Ives and the walk from the shops and beach kept us all fit but we were happy with the location. The beach was literally 5mins away and the shops were only a little further. We would recommend this apartment to friends without hesitation and are already considering re-booking for next year.

We’ve just returned from a fabulous three night stay in Zennor. Arrival was extremely smooth and having the parking space is an excellent bonus! We were stunned at the beautiful decor of the apartment and were able to enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony listening to the sea. Communications with Orange Roofs were seamless and they were very friendly and accommodating, ensuring there was a highchair and travel cot set up for our arrival. We shall definitely recommend Zennor, and Orange Roofs to friends and hope to return very soon!

With lovely views over Porthmeor and a little terrace with table and chairs from which to enjoy them, we knew we’d found a great reasonably priced apartment as soon as we arrived. Very modern and stylish with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms meant plenty of space for us and our 18 month old. Lovely touches like White Company hand wash and soft fluffy towels gave a relaxing sense of luxury. Only 5 minute walk to the harbour too. A wonderful week!

We've just returned from a lovely week staying at Zennor in St Ives with my husband, 16 month old son and Mother in law. We found the apartment really comfortable and stylish - love the commitment to the seaside theme even onto the mugs! The apartment was very well equipped and we had everything we needed as well as being spotlessly clean and snug. The location was super - 3 minutes to the wonderful bakery for breakfast pastries (although a bit longer coming back...!) The Tate construction work does start early (7.30am) but with a toddler this wasn't an issue for us. The main thing we missed were the sea glimpses vs the construction boards as we ate in every night. Nonetheless we had a super week and I would highly recommend Zennor apartment.

Another wonderful week at Zennor. The apartment is just as good as we remembered from last year. Everything is good quality, and the owners have excellent taste. The apartment is also very clean, something you can't always take for granted. I was aware of the building work, as I stayed here last year . If you like to have a long lie in, you may be disappointed, as the workers start arriving at 7am. This didn't worry me as I get up at 5am in my real life! Next year we are looking forward to a building free holiday. However, there are so many other super aspects to this apartment (comfy beds, quality linen, fluffy towels, plenty of crockery/cutlery-I could go on for ever!) , that this minor irritation can be overlooked.

We have just had a week in the Zennor and although the weather wasn't great, overall we enjoyed our first time on holiday in Cornwall. Our stay commenced well with excellent directons and a very comprehensive welcome pack. The apartment is exceptionlly well equipped, wonderful kitchen facilities and well thought out in terms of layout. There was nothing that had not been thought about and so we were very impressed with the whole apartment The location is also very good and having a parking space just a few minutes away is a real advantage. We only had two days when we could sit on the beach however, the array of beach accessories is tremendous. The are only two negatives to comment about. Firstly: the building works which was noisy and disruptive as we do enjoy a long lie in. There also seemed to be a constant presence of workmen outside our windows from 0730 each day. The balcony is easy to use and it was great to be able to have the doors open in the evening. However, the partial sea view is perhaps not quite as good as it seemed in the photographs on the website. Overall we had a lovely time at Zennor and in St Ives, some glorious places to eat and fantastic cliff top and beach walks to enjoy.

We've stayed at Zennor twice in the last 18 months and loved it both times. It's in a central location and only a five minute walk into town. The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable and has everything you need for a good week away including powerful showers and comfortable beds. The building work at the Tate didn't bother us at all. We knew it was happening before we booked and the price reflected it. We're currently considering booking again for next year.
