Top 3 Burger Joints in St Ives

Whether it’s with friends, family or you’re enjoying a romantic getaway, there’s nothing quite like spending time together, enjoying some of the best burgers in Cornwall, followed by a stroll on the beach in the evening sun. For that very reason, we’re going to share with you some of the best burger joints around!

Blas Burgerworks

Blas is hidden just off the Warren in St Ives. Tucked away around a corner just a few steps from the sea, many would have walked past it. However, do not let its size deceive you, Blas is a burger empire!

Not only have they been mentioned in the Good Food Guide for 11 consecutive years, they have been mentioned in the Wall Street Journal as ranking in the top 5 burgers in Europe. They are truly something special! The restaurant is small, with long shared dining tables to utilise the space they have and you are unable to reserve. If you can’t get a seat, no problem, they offer a takeaway service too so you can enjoy your burgers on the beach.

Taking all into consideration, Blas do a range of beef, chicken and amazingly delicious vegan burgers so there is certainly something for everyone. All of their ingredients are locally and ethically sourced, just to add a little more awesome to this business!

Hub St Ives

You may have seen a few Hub Boxes pop up in cities near you such as Plymouth, Bristol and Exeter, but Hub St Ives is where it all started and their burgers and dining experience are something definitely worth trying during your time here!

Perched right on St Ives harbour front, the views are pretty spectacular, but that doesn’t detract from the first-class burgers you’ll be served. From Korean chicken to a Big Kahuna (yep, you heard that right!) and a great range of vegan and vegetarian options, Hub provide burgers that show off local ingredients and innovative ideas!

The walk to Beer and Bird

Beer and Bird

There are chicken burgers and then there are Beer and Bird chicken burgers, which are sure to surpass all expectations! Vegan or vegetarian? Their vegan Seitan burgers have been mastered to perfection, offering you an equally  delicious alternative.

Located on the old cobbled Fore Street, Beer and Bird have thrown all they have got into their burgers, giving us delights such as the ‘Sweet Mercy’ which consists of fried breast, streaky bacon, deep-fried camembert wheel and ‘sweet mercy’ hot pepper jam. This is certainly a stop off for unforgettable burgers.
