We have used Ross and Sam as our letting agents since the inception of their company and have never had cause to regret it. Their lettings record for our property in St. Ives is excellent, with bookings throughout the year, not just for the high season summer months. They are utterly professional and provide a service second to none, whether it be to owners or guests. Courteous and polite, they handle any queries or requests quickly and ensure that guests are appraised of any necessary information prior to the commencement of their holiday.

Ally this to an excellent housekeeping team who ensure that our apartment is in tip top shape for all new guests.

On the rare occasion they encounter a blip, they can call on their experienced maintenance team to rectify the problem quickly and efficiently.

Orange Roofs have been brilliant since the word go. After an initial very informative chat with Sam, we felt confident to take the plunge and buy our holiday home in St Ives. Since then, it’s been nothing but plain sailing and that is saying something given the fact that we bought our house in the middle of the pandemic! The entire team are very friendly, couldn’t be more helpful and we know our house is in safe hands under their management. Can’t recommend them enough!

Sam and Ross took on one of our cottages when they first started their business and then we added another one a couple of years later. Since then they have added Billie, Charlie to their team.

We are delighted with their service.  Our bookings are very good which guarantees us an income with which we are satisfied. They have a helpful and proactive communication with guests at every stage of holidays from booking to arrivals and beyond if problems arise.  The development of their Orange roofs app proved to be invaluable when Covid restrictions prohibited the use of information folders in properties.

We have received helpful advice and support in furnishing and maintaining the cottages with phone numbers of builders, electricians, plumbers and Rod has helped out with niggly problems at a moment’s notice as well as fitting out a bathroom more extensively. Often one of the team at Orange Roofs has arranged for work to be done.

We had a cottage with Sykes before moving to Cornwall and Orange Roofs.  Their fees were higher and the service more impersonal and less responsive.  Small is beautiful when it comes to a personal service.

We moved our property to Orange Roofs as we loved their personal approach and the fact they manage a small portfolio of carefully chosen properties.  Previously we were with one of the large agents in St Ives, where we were “just a number” and service and occupancy was poor due to the sheer volume of properties they were handling. The difference Orange Roofs have made is incredible – we have more than doubled our occupancy levels, our guests adore the cottage as well as the attentive service Orange Roofs provide them. We have also benefited from loads of repeat bookings, again a testament to Orange Roofs.  I can’t thank Sam, Ross and the team highly enough – they really are the best in the business – and believe us, we’ve been there!

I have enjoyed a working relationship with Sam and Ross, the owners of this superb holiday lettings management company [ Orange Roofs ] for several years now. They took on the management of our sea front apartment , 6 Sunnyside Flats, St Ives, some 6 years ago. I cannot speak too highly of the service that we receive from them and their colleagues . From financial management, maximised lettings, liaison with housekeeping and maintenance services, and feedback from paying guests , our experience has been supremely positive.

Our own apartment has received virtual 100% 5 star reviews from visitors, both in our visitors book and on line . Orange Roofs team must receive maximum credit for this. Sam, Ross, and their working partners are always on hand to provide guidance to both us and our guests. Their local knowledge is second to none: they are always friendly and polite, and scrupulously fair . On the , fortunately extremely rare occasions, that problems occur they are always dealt with in a sensitive and balanced manner.

We have invested a lot of time and expense in providing holiday accommodation at Sunnyside that is commensurate with modern expectations, and , as we use the apartment ourselves often, feels like a home from home. We are blessed that Orange Roofs sing from the same hymn sheet.
