As soon as you arrive at this luxury dog-friendly holiday home in St Ives you will be very impressed! It comes with the added bonus of parking for up to 4 cars with a pay-as-you-go 7Kw EV charger, a fully fenced and gated garden as well as a sun-trap terrace with an outdoor dining and lounging area with BBQ and a hot tub to seat 6. You will appreciate its magnificence instantly! Finished to a very high standard by interior designers Hygge & Cwtch, this house oozes a sumptuous welcome to families and couples wanting something extra special while on their St Ives holidays. Lahaina is located on the drive into St Ives from Carbis Bay and is very close to Tregenna Castle so is a short 15-minute walk to Porthminster Beach and the same to get to Carbis Bay beach via the South West coastal path. The very heart of St Ives with its cobbled shop-lined street is no more than a 20-minute walk away. It’s not just any old walk though, you will pass places of interest and beauty along the way with some breathtaking views of St Ives harbour. 

This luxury self-catering holiday accommodation sleeps 8 very easily in 4 bedrooms and has 3 bathrooms, a huge living space and dining area as well as a super stylish large kitchen with a central island with stools. For those that want a different zone to relax in, there is a snug with another large sofa, giant bean bag and patio doors that lead into the sun-drenched rear terrace which exudes a Mediterranean vibe. For the playful amongst the party, there is a table tennis table which can be enjoyed in the garage on rainy days or wheeled outside in the warmth of the sunshine.

Lahaina is set back from the main road into St Ives and its parking for up to 4 cars is directly outside on a paved driveway. You walk into a light drenched entrance hall lit by 3 double height Velux windows and a Tom Raffield light. There is a feature wall with paddles above a two seater sofa perfect for perching on when putting your shoes on before heading outdoors. There is a small cupboard in the entrance hallway for stashing away boots or buggies and wet coats. There is a retractable stair gate at the foot of the stairs which is great for stopping over enthusiastic toddlers or dogs from heading upstairs. From the entrance, you can't help but be drawn into the open plan kitchen, dining room and living room. It's so inviting and spacious, we feel confident guests will instantly fall in love with Lahaina.  

The super stylish, handcrafted kitchen, painted in dark navy is very well-equipped to cater for a self-catering holiday in St Ives. The island houses the induction hob, wine fridge, drawers and, on the tiled side of the island, sits four stools by Pedrali for propping up the chef while they make a spectacular feast for all. The white quartz kitchen counters reflect the huge amounts of sunshine that drenches the house from both sides. Integrated appliances are AEG with an under counter freezer, full size integrated upright fridge and integrated oven, microwave and dishwasher too. This fully equipped kitchen is perfect for home cooking and plus there is an outdoor kitchen area with matching tiles where you can BBQ on the outside grill. Wake up to the smell of coffee with a Nespresso coffee machine and prepare Cornish butter drenched sourdough toast with the Dualit 4-slice toaster. 

The dining table with Pedrali dining chairs accommodates 8 people easily. The chairs have been chosen to offer comfort all evening long for the perfect dinner party. The table looks out onto the sun terrace accessed via double doors that can be wide open to let in the warm, Cornish air and sunshine. A Tom Raffield wooden lamp subtly lights the dining table from above and other occasional lamps and plants offer a real home from home feel as well as the most sumptuous of sofas offering the best loafing experience ever! There is an additional armchair with footrest, Smart TV and Bang & Olufsen Beolit 20 Portable Bluetooth Speaker for streaming your own chosen holiday vibes. 

Walk past the kitchen along the hallway and you will pass a utility room with Bosch washing machine and Hotpoint tumble dryer. You will get to a quiet snug room which also has double doors leading onto the terrace outside. A large L-shaped sofa is perfect for more horizontal lounging as well as an oversized bean bag and reading lamps. There's a Smart TV for those that want to watch something different to the others in the living room. A shower room is off this room with a wash basin, WC and shower cubicle. 

The first floor is equally spacious and sumptuous being carpeted throughout. A glass balustrade staircase leads you onto an open hallway that looks down to the entrance hall below so care must be taken with adventurous little ones who may like to climb. There are two super king size bedrooms, a king size bedroom and a twin bedroom. The master suite also has touches of green plants in rattan baskets offering an immediate sense of calm. There is a Smart TV, armchair, side table and lamp, full length doors that open inwards and look out onto the front garden/ parking area over a balcony. There is also a dressing table and mirror, a super comfortable super king bed and windows looking to the side of the house under plantation shutters. Step into the stunning en-suite shower room with WC, wash basin and shower with dual controls. There is a spacious walk-in wardrobe with enough space to store luggage, hang and fold your holiday clothes as well as play hide and seek! 

Along the bright and sunny open hallway is the twin bedroom with two 3ft singles beds, a bedside table and lamp, armchair, giant bean bag and open hanging space. At the end of the hallway is the king size bedroom with plantation shutters and a console table with mirror, armchair and built-in wardrobes with hanging space and a tall boy for folding t-shirts. The family bathroom has a bath, shower, WC and wash basin with soothing pieces of art evoking a true sense of relaxation. The fourth bedroom has another super king size bed, chaise lounge sofa, double doors and Juliet balcony, Velux windows, Smart TV, console table, dressing table with mirror and built-in wardrobe. Each of the bedrooms are designed to provide the perfect ambience to relax, soothe, sleep and spend time unwinding into a holiday mood.

Outside the stylish features continue with Pedrali sofas, dining table, chairs and bar stools so when the sun is shining, the temperature is warm and the sea air fragrant with the promise of fabulous Spring, Summer and warm Autumn holidays, Lahaina really does offer the full shebang when it comes to planning and enjoying holidays to St Ives.  

The Cornish Arms pub is just 100 metres from the house as are the bus stops that will take you to and from the heart of St Ives if you don't fancy walking the 20 minutes to the sea front. Tescos is the nearest supermarket which is within walking distance taking no more than 5 minutes on foot. Tregenna Castle has an 18-hole golf course so if you love to bring your clubs on holiday with you, a very short walk brings you to their very scenic golf course. West Cornwall golf course is also less than 5 miles away with breathtaking views over St Ives Bay. Countryside walks can be enjoyed directly from Lahaina, a 15-minute walk will take you to Steeple woodlands and onto Knills Monument with gorgeous ocean views beyond. 

To re-cap, Lahaina is a luxury holiday rental in St Ives that sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms and has 3 bathrooms. It has parking for up to 4 cars and offers a 7Kw electric car charger with a pay-to-use facility, a garden, sun terrace, outdoor dining and lounging area with BBQ. Up to 2 impeccably-behaved and house trained small to medium dog is allowed but our pet rules must be respected. No dog over 18kgs allowed. There is a retractable stair gate at the foot of the internal stairs, a high chair and travel cot available. Free WiFi throughout the house, bed linen and towels are all provided but please pack your own beach towels.

PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to have use of the hot tub, there is an additional fee of £350 per week which can be added as a cart item when booking. This fee would be valid for short stays also. Use of the hot tub is not included in the rental price.

Christmas 2023 - Best Ever!!
We had the most magical Christmas at Lahaina with our three grown up children, their partners and our sausage dog Minnie. From the moment we arrived at Lahaina on the Friday before Christmas everything was set up beautifully, two Christmas trees, a lovely welcome pack, the hot tub and table tennis. The whole house was tastefully and beautifully decorated to a high standard 
We have been coming to St Ives for many years and usually stay in Downalong and I was worried about being just on the outskirts but I honestly needn't have worried, the walk down the hill was amazing with gorgeous views and the walk up really wasn't too bad, Lahaina also has a bus stop right outside and St Ives also has a fantastic taxi service with 8 seaters and dog friendly which we used a few evenings in and out (I think the most we paid was about £15 back from the sloop on Christmas Eve). You also have Tesco a 10 minute walk away, we needn't have hired a van to take food and drink for 8. 
The Boxing Day swim on Porthminster was lovely to be part of (not me)but the rest of the family joined in. 
Would definitely recommend Lahaina for Christmas and would love to spend a Summer there and enjoy the outdoor seating and bbq

Really well presented and designed property. Felt immediately at home and a great entertaining space. The owners have obviously taken a lot of time and effort to make this a great holiday home. Orange Roofs back them up very well with great service and attention to detail. Look forward to our next stay.

The property is well located and is wonderfully presented. The open plan living area, large bedrooms and bathrooms along with the snug and table tennis table are all fabulous features and coupled with high quality throughout made it an amazing place to stay. The owners appear to have thought of everything! 

The garden area was a definite plus point for our dog who loved being able to walk around the drive and garden without us being worried about him escaping. 

Parking behind the gated drive and the security that afforded couldn't be underestimated and having a short downhill walk to either St Ives or Carbis bay makes this property Ideally located. 

The standard with which Orange roofs manage their properties in my opinion is unparalleled and the communication they provide to their clients during the booking and before arrival sets them apart from others.

Lahaina is a fantastic property in a great location. The house is finished to a very high standard throughout and feels luxurious but equally very homely. It is very well equipped; a lot of thought has gone into ensuring guests have all they need. We liked the location out of the town centre (with ample parking) but in easy walking distance - of both St Ives and Carbis Bay. Plus the bus stop just outside, with frequent buses locally and further afield. The service from Orange Roofs was first class, very responsive and helpful in advance and during our stay. We absolutely loved our time here - we look forward to returning next year!

We had a wonderful week at Lahaina. The property has been newly renovated and is beautifully done with incredible attention to detail, and no expense spared. We loved the decor and all the little touches that gave it personality and made it feel homely. 
We particularly enjoyed the outdoor space which catches the afternoon and evening sun and was a great spot to relax after a walk back from the beach which was only a 15- 20 min walk away. 
I would highly recommend Lahaina!

Lahaina has such a great location, right on the hill next to Tregenna Castle. The first thing we loved was the ample parking and the EV charging point. Parking is so difficult in St. Ives in the summer so this is a massive win for us. The Cornish Arms pub is only a 100m walk away and the big Tesco's down the road is fantastic for getting all our food and goodies! The villa itself is stunning and you can tell it has been professionally designed with every detail carefully thought about. We love the way the kitchen tiles follow through to the courtyard behind. It's just these little touches. The kids absolutely loved the table tennis in the garage and their own separate snug/games room. The ultimate stunner at the property has to be the rear garden and patio area. We had so many fun evenings with BBQ's and drinks. We also loved the outside shower area and surf washdown facilities. As keen surfers we also liked the way we could store all our equipment safely in the garage. Finally, the bed linen! Made by angels and the beds are to die for. We will be back for sure.

What a lovely property and such a great location walkable to both St Ives Bay and Carbis Bay. We heard Lahaina had just been refurbished so we were expecting it to be nice but we didn't expect it to be finished to such a high standard. Everything from the bed linen to the cutlery was just 5 star quality. I'd say the outside seating/dining area was the highlight for us, family meals followed by evening drinks under the fairy lights, perfect. We can't wait to come back next summer. Thank you.
