Hawkes View is a beautiful luxury holiday rental in Carbis Bay with extraordinary sea views! You will not fail but fall head over heels in love with Hawkes View with its coastal gardens, sun-soaked decking and the bewitching panoramic sea and beach views. The same breath-taking views are also enjoyed from the comfort of the expansive living area, king-size and super-king bedrooms.
Whatever time of year you plan to have a holiday, staying at this luxury self-catering holiday home in Carbis Bay will bring a beam to your face. It’s a peaceful oasis of coastal charm and privacy yet within a short distance of the energetic town of St Ives. There is a choice of five sandy beaches as well as renowned surf spots all within a very short driving distance. If being active is your idea of a great holiday, put on your walking shoes and thoroughly immerse yourselves with the local wildlife by walking the South West coast path to St Ives (a 20-minute walk) or down to Carbis Bay beach which can be reached in less than 10 minutes. If you want to cheat and take the relaxed approach, you can drive to St Ives in less than 5 minutes or take the most charming train ride ever from Carbis Bay taking in the astounding sea views along the way.
It would be unreservedly excusable if you opted to not move far from the house itself given just how incredibly comfortable and inviting the gardens, the view and the interiors are. The living space sweeps across the entire front of the house giving a family of six plenty of room to relax and sprawl out. Entertainment-wise, there is something for everyone. In the living room, there is an Apple TV with SKY Q installed as well as a DVD player and Bose Speaker for music lovers. For the teenagers and playful adults, there is a table football to expend some energy over or, if you prefer a lazier day, there is a 65" Samsung 4K UHD Smart TV with Cinema sound and Apple TV, a 4K Blue Ray DVD player, SKY Q and an X-Box 1 Gaming Platform. On both TVs, you have access to the huge choice that Netflix has to offer so whether the weather is good or bad, you can certainly be entertained! As you would expect, there is WiFi throughout the house plus good mobile phone reception too.
Hawkes View is a wonderfully inclusive home where the whole
family (or romantic couples) can share the same space comfortably
in the kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is excellently equipped
so all gifted chefs whether part of the family or a privately paid
in-house chef can explore culinary delights with local ingredients
and enjoy them eaten alfresco or around the dining table. Why not
light the BBQ on a balmy evening and extend the garden
entertainment into the evening?
Every Carbis Bay holiday rental needs to be practical in order to
be comfortable; there is a ground floor cloakroom with toilet and
wash basin, a utility area with washer/ dryer where, from here, a
door leads to a paved area with rotary line. There is also a warm
outside shower so no need to worry about taking sand throughout the
home after a fun-filled day on the beach.
We think everyone wants to book a holiday home in Carbis Bay where
the windows handsomely frame sunrises and sunsets over the sea.
Hawkes View does exactly that, in spades! The master bedroom has a
super-king size bed and the other a king-size each with cushioned
window seats, wardrobes and bedside tables. The twin room is a
spacious area for children to call their own. There are two
bathrooms on the same floor as the bedrooms, each within a couple
of strides of the bedrooms and both with beautiful Temple Spa
complimentary toiletries. A travel cot and fixed stair gate on the
first-floor hallway are provided for the younger families
staying.

To recap, this luxury self-catering holiday home in Carbis Bay is a short walk from Carbis Bay beach. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is parking for two cars directly outside the house (steps from the front door lead up to street level and the private parking bays). This holiday rental boasts extensive sea views and has a private garden and a huge decked area at the front of the house. There are bags of entertainment options for all the family too. Hawkes View is a family-friendly holiday home providing a travel cot, high chair, toilet step and toilet seat. Please note, guests must provide their own travel cot bedding and linen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hawkes View in early July. It's a comfortable, spacious property with an extensive decking area that provides fantastic views across Carbis Bay. It's an easy walk down to a fantastic beach (although the walk back is a little more challenging!). The outside shower was very handy in helping us avoid trailing sand throughout the property. We did have rain on a couple of days, but that's where the games room with its Xbox and massive smart TV came into its own for keeping our 13 year old son occupied. Hawkes View is extremely well kitted out. Everything we might possibly have needed was available. Orange Roofs also deserve a mention. They were very attentive and helpful, both in the lead up to our stay in Hawkes View and while we were there, and their app is an excellent innovation.

Superb property in stunning location. Spacious and very well equipped. Nice walk down to beautiful beach and very nice bars/restaurants. Management of booking excellent. Great location for jumping on the train at Carbis Bay for very short ride into St Ives. Worth mentioning new section of A30 dual carriageway now open speeding up driving time through Cornwall significantly. Overall a great holiday and would definitely book Hawkes View again via Orange Roofs.

We usually stay at 8 Salt and love that it has a lift and
the view from the lounge and dining room and how bougie it is, it
really has the wow factor. Due to a leak from the property above we
could not stay this year and as an alternative the owners very
kindly offered Hawkes View as an alternative.
The property has outstanding views and great decking areas,
we didn't use these as the weather in January isn't really
suitable. Both double bedrooms in the property have gorgeous views
of Carbis bay.
This is a great property for families, with a separate
lounge and games room (which in January was very
cold).
I have health issues I found the access to the property down
a steep set of stairs very difficult when going out anywhere, and
if going for any sort of walk you needed to be very fit and able as
all the roads surrounding the property are extremely steep…
especially down to Carbis bay itself.
The property is very practical, but for us lacked the wow
factor and bougieness of 8.

We had a wonderful week at Hawkes View, the property is beautiful and lacks nothing. The views of Carbis Bay are stunning. The area is quiet and peaceful and a short distance from St Ives, which is beautiful to visit .

This is a beautiful house. The views are stunning. Well equipped with everything you need. Very comfortable beds. Well equipped bathroom but I would say the shower is very small as is the second bathroom but all beautiful clean. We will definitely be returning.

This beautifully appointed home sits high up in Carbis Bay with magnificent views over the bay. A great place to base to base yourself to explore the Cornish Coast. It is an easy 10 minute walk to the beach but prepare yourself for a steep walk back up. Overall a 5 star property in a 5 star location.

The house was very clean and really well equipped. The views of the sea from the decking, lounge and bedrooms were beautiful. The location was great and we enjoyed Carbis Bay and St Ives, both short walks away. Simple check in and good communication from Orange Roofs. A lovely holiday. Thank you!

Thank you for the wonderful stay. Hawkes view was perfect, with all the best amenities. We spent 7 nights there and we enjoyed every bit of it. The view from the house was breathtaking. You can enjoy the beautiful Carbis bay, without stepping out. We recommend not to miss the sun rise from the deck or from the bed room. It happens around 5:15 AM. It is picture perfect. Thank you Orange roof for the impressive service. Thank you for constantly being in touch and updating us via email. Much appreciated. We look forward to visit again soon. Thanks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Hawkes view. The house was beautiful with all the amenities you needed. But most amazing were the fantastic sea views. It was wonderful to lay in bed and watch the moon light up the sea . Great position with a pleasant walk to the beach. Tesco's close by which is handy. Nice welcome pack with local products. I was really impressed with orange roofs all communication was first class, phones answered quickly by very competent and friendly staff. The app was very useful. When travelling to Cornwall again will definitely check out orange roofs.

This House really does have the Wow
factor throughout the property, the standard of furniture, fixtures
& fittings is incredible, it has everything that you need with
so many thoughtful touch's too. We loved coming down every morning
& looking at that stunning view that changed daily.
The kitchen is so well equipped & you are definitely
not short of anything if you are preparing meals. There was a very
thoughtful welcome basket with many locally sourced treats that
made a lovely start to our holiday.
The holiday company Orange Roofs were amazing with us from the first phone call when enquiring about the accommodation & throughout our entire stay. They were extremely helpful & polite when we had questions & got back to us very quickly. They efficiently sorted out a gas fire not lighting issue that we had & had a person fix it straight away as as well as checking up with us that all was as we would like it.
We also felt very reassured in these Covid times as the place was absolutely spotless & we were very happy that the right procurations had been taken.
There was information given to us digitally via the Orange Roof app with everything that we needed to know about the property. This was an extremely detailed guide to how everything in the house worked (remotes, cookers, heating, speakers, recycling, WiFi etc)
There is plenty of decking space to relax whilst taking in that view & lots of space to eat outdoors, there is also a lovely little garden that is a private oasis just below the house.
Hawkes View is a wonderful base to be able to explore Cornwall, fantastically located with in easy reach of St Ives. There is a great footpath with amazing views along the way that leads you in to the heart of St Ives. Theres another path that takes you right on to the beach under a very impressive viaduct or if you need Carbis Bay Train Station that's just 5 minutes from the accommodation too.
We very highly recommend this property & the booking company. We loved our time there so much that we have already rebooked for next year!
