The kitchen flows easily into the rest of the ground floor and offers plenty of room for families or groups to gather together throughout the day.
Living
Double doors lead from the kitchen into the spacious living area.
A large, comfortable sofa faces the wood burner and television with a basic Sky package, creating a cosy space for evenings at home.
There is also a second sofa in a quieter reading area, along with a Marshall Acton Bluetooth speaker for music.
The large bay window and high ceilings add a wonderful sense of space, while views stretch across the rooftops towards the sea and Godrevy Lighthouse.

On the first floor, the principal bedroom has a king-size bed, high ceilings, sea views and its own compact en-suite wet room.
There is also a second king-size bedroom with bespoke shelving and hanging space.
The third first-floor bedroom is a twin room with handcrafted storage and a decorative mezzanine feature. Please note that the mezzanine is not for guest use.
The top-floor bedroom has a double bed and is tucked into the eaves, with a Cabrio Velux offering elevated sea views over the rooftops of St Ives. There is a single bed that may be used for a smaller, ninth guest or if sleeping arrangements of a party of eight require an additional bed. Please request on booking with Orange Roofs.
Bathrooms
The property has three bathrooms plus a ground-floor cloakroom.
The principal first-floor king-size bedroom has an en-suite wet room.
The family bathroom on the first floor has a bath, twin shower heads, wash basin and WC.
The top-floor double bedroom also has its own en-suite wet room.
A separate cloakroom with WC is located on the ground floor near the kitchen.
Outdoor Space
Treloweth has a separate garden area positioned just beyond the parking spaces at the front of the property.
Although the garden is not directly attached to the house, it is only a few steps away and offers useful outdoor space for relaxing.
A bistro table and chairs are also positioned directly in front of the house, where guests can sit and enjoy the sunshine and sea views.
A covered storage area accessed via the garden is available for surfboards, bikes and kayaks, although any equipment is stored there at guests' own risk.
Dog-Friendly
Up to two well-behaved small to medium adult dogs are welcome, weighing no more than 18kg each.
Guests bringing a dog should provide their own dog bed, towels and throws, and dogs must be well behaved and well mannered within the house and outdoor areas.
The nearby beaches, harbourfront and coastal paths make Treloweth a convenient base for guests holidaying with dogs.
Close to Beach
Treloweth is well positioned for exploring St Ives on foot.
St Ives Harbour and Fore Street can be reached in around five minutes, while Porthmeor Beach is also approximately a five-minute walk away, although the route includes a steep hill.

Parking
Two private parking spaces are provided directly outside the house.

Having parking on site makes arrival, unloading and day trips around Cornwall particularly straightforward.
Access
Treloweth is arranged over three floors.
The kitchen, living areas, utility room and cloakroom are on the ground floor.
A staircase leads to the first floor, where three bedrooms and the family bathroom are located.

Visitors need to be really aware just how steep the hill is,that the property is sited on. The 5 min walk to the nearest beach is overly optimistic given the steepness of the walks, both up and down. Nice property if all members of family are fit and mobile.

It's a shame as this house could be great but unfortunately we had a few issues. Many were related to cleanliness or lack off with a list of items that were not particularly clean like floors, furniture, appliances and topped off by the mattress protectors not being changed so had hair/staining. The fridge did t seal very well and leaked a few times, the washing machine had mould under the seals and there were numerous other issues with doors and windows either handles falling off and windows not being able to shut. The garden was so overgrown at the front we had to duck to get into the property and there was an infestation of some sort around the front door. With the right care this could be great but fell well short unfortunately.
MANAGEMENT COMMENT: We are very sad and sorry to see these cleaning issues you experienced, Steven. We will be addressing these areas of concerns with the owner's housekeeping team as well as the gardener. We will investigate the fridge seal and will ensure this gets corrected as quickly as possible.

We had an absolutely wonderful week at Treloweth. It's a spacious and beautifully equipped place, with everything you could possibly need. There are two generous parking spaces right outside the property, and it's dog-friendly too. I was really impressed with the communication we had throughout our stay, and we had such a great time there.

We enjoyed our stay at Treloweth The house was clean and well equipped. Easy reach of the town and beaches and great walking close by with our dog. An absolute bonus to have parking with the house which made the stay here even better. More than happy with the service provided by Orangeroofs.

We stayed over New Year and we had an amazing time. The
house was just perfect & location was great for ease of getting
into the town.
The beds are super comfy & lounge furniture is
great.
Very well-organized kitchen, although I don't like an
electric hob - I did get used to it.
An absolute bonus is that you get two parking spaces as this
meant we could unpack easily & on a couple of occasions drive
out of St Ives, as parking is usually like gold dust.
Would 100% recommend it & would 100% come
back.

This was our 4th October visit to St Ives and Treloweth was easily one of the best houses we've stayed in. Perfectly located for town, Porthminster Beach and surfing at Porthmoer, it's in an ideal location. It had plenty of room for our party of 8 and two dogs, with a massive kitchen and Cousy lounge. Also a mention for Billie at Orange Roofs , whose communication before and during our stay was excellent. I would highly recommend staying here and we wills definitely be looking to again.

Great house, well equipped, spacious and excellent
location in St Ives for easy access to all amenities. Our only
constructive feedback would be to look at improving the garden
area, as it's not currently not very inviting or
accessible.
Excellent service from Orange Roofs who proved incredibly
helpful and responsive to our needs. Clear information supplied via
the app and through direct comms on arrival and
department.
We will definitely look to book with you again. Thank you for
a lovely holiday!

Superb visit. Our second time in Treloweth. This time we brought friends with us and they loved it too. It's a perfect house for socialising and relaxing. You name it. The views are superb, and the parking for two cars a real bonus. Inside the house it gives and gives. It is a classy house. Many nice touches after an extensive revamp. Then the cool pad. Nice artwork, calming colours on the walls, great furniture. Plus there are guitars. Always a bonus. In short - pretty fabulous.

Our second time booking with Orange Roofs and once again we were not disappointed. The booking process, communication and friendliness of the staff was brilliant. Treloweth was perfectly located with parking for two cars, those who have visited St Ives will know that parking can be tricky at times, so having the private spot was amazing. The house was stunning, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and equipped for a eight, there's loads of room to entertain or just relax after a busy day touring the surrounding area. The house is only a five minute walk to the hustle and bustle of the centre, although close you feel far enough away to escape if you prefer a more chilled evening. The area at the front was perfect to sit down with a cold beer and look out over the rooftops, I just wish I was back there now. Highly recommend this property, will definitely be back.

Beautiful house with everything you could want included. Lovely sea view from front of property. All rooms are very spacious. The only thing I'd say against it is the steep hill and tight entrance in and out if you have a large car, but the parking does have 2 very large spaces. If you have mobility issues think again very steep steps up to properly . Never used the garden that's included opposite the front of the property due to the steep stairs going down. To be quite honest the view of the sea on the beautiful patio out the front, is a little sun trap. This has a table and chairs sitting 4 and a bench is a far better place to enjoy a drink and a meal and enjoy the view.

Treloweth is a beautiful house, with plenty of "wow" factor. It was very big and bright, with lots of space for all of our family. Interiors and furnishings have been chosen with a careful eye to create a really stunning home. The website photos don't do it justice - it really is quit a special place. It is very well equipped and located within easy reach of all the beaches, bars, restaurants and shops. Loved the huge fluffy towels and the range of kitchen equipment. Having the parking space was a great bonus. The local team clearly manage the property really well and we had a really comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to return.

Loved this house. We've stayed in many holiday homes over the years and this was definitely one of the best. Spotlessly clean, modern but interesting decor, great space, well-equipped. Great to have parking space and outdoor area for our dog. Front terrace was a real suntrap, so enjoyed our morning cuppa out there! Great central location in St Ives, but still quiet and peaceful.

This traditional house with its mix of original and modern features and furnishings makes a perfect base for a family holiday. Great location for everything St Ives has to offer. Sea views for that morning coffee and spectacular roof feature to take in the sea air and views. Parking for two cars is bigger than average for St Ives. We would definitely book this property again.

Our 5th visit to St Ives and possibly the best house we've rented yet. Good for groups -,plenty of living space, bathrooms and 2 car spaces. Well located close to the town centre but sufficiently elevated to provide a quiet location and views over the town and bay. We would definitely stay at Treloweth again.

Treloweth sits on a steep hill but the views from this property are magical. The house is beautiful, perfectly laid out and full of all the holiday essentials you need. It is bright and clean with spacious rooms and ingenious ideas. We loved this house. It is only a 10 minute walk to the harbour and 10 minute walk to the beach. Not for the faint hearted tho as these are very steep hills, by the end of the week we knew we had done them. St Ives is wonderful, our advice is to prebook restaurants as these get filled quickly. We unfortunately had our bookings cancelled due to lack of staff. We didn't want to leave so would highly recommend this property.

A wonderful house, beautifully converted and very well equipped. Everything you need is there. The heating makes is very cosy and the log burner a wonderful way to spend the evening. The parking is a little tight for bigger vehicles! Orange roofs are very pleasant to deal with!

Excellent house, big enough for 2 families, well equipped with good quality items. Well thought out, great use of space. Very comfortable furnishings. Highly recommend. 5-10 mins walk to the harbour and beach one way and 8 mins walk from back of the house to Porthmeor beach. Location can't be faulted. Located on a very steep hill so not suitable for those with mobility issues. Parking provided, bit hairy getting into the terrace to park due to gradient of road but once done the first time it's ok! Nice welcome pack on arrival and good response from the management company to an issue raised.

A holiday home with lots of character and plenty of space for the family. We found the close proximity (few minutes walk) to Porthmeor beach as well as the cafes, restaurants and shops of St Ives an absolute bonus. The children greatly enjoyed the top floor room which they turned into their own chill out room for TV, drawing and reading. The lounge area is very comfortable with plenty of sofa space, the main bathroom is a great size with two showers and an area to hang wetsuits. The master bedroom is beautifully finished and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed including plenty of space for the kids to play games while we cooked. We loved the bench in the front garden where you could start and finish the day looking out across the Panoramic roof tops of St Ives out to sea. A lovely holiday in a great space.
