About Number 4 Salt

Come and stay at this luxury holiday apartment in St Ives and experience a real sense of exclusivity staying within the Salt complex on Belyars Road. Access to Number 4 Salt is through security gates where you will park up in your allocated space and follow steps to the communal front door. Number 4 Salt is on the first floor, so just one flight of internal steps or a lift ride takes you to the front door. Step inside and be immediately hit by the love, care and attention the owners have given to this luxury St Ives apartment with sea views galore. Number 4 Salt has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, two outdoor lounging and dining spaces and an open plan kitchen, dining and living area. There is incredible artwork throughout the apartment by yuviart.com, Eddie Bennett, Illuminati Neon and Survival Techniques, all of which bring vibrancy, positive messages and an all round happy feeling!

Most of the furniture in the apartment is by Loaf and Mustard with Kartell pieces giving a real Scandi feel to the living and sleeping areas. Comfort, warmth, welcome and luxury is what Number 4 Salt offers as well as extraordinary sea views from the living and dining room and of course the balconies. The larger balcony is accessed from the king size bedroom and also the kitchen through sliding patio doors, it has a Kartell Bubble Club sofa and armchair and is a real afternoon sun trap so perfect for aperitifs before heading into St Ives for a delicious lunch or dinner. There is also a balcony off the living room with views out to Godrevy Lighthouse, where meals can be enjoyed alfresco on dining furniture by Fermob Design.

The kitchen is well equipped with integrated appliances including oven, induction hob, 60/40 split fridge/ freezer and dishwasher. There is a Nespresso coffee machine so perfect for making a latte and loafing on the comfy sofas while drinking in the gorgeous sea views. The twin bedroom can either be two 2'6" wide (3ft long) single beds or a 5ft wide king size bed. It has Mustard bedside tables and wardrobe as well as a chest of drawers and a Smart TV. The master bedroom has a Loaf king size bed and is a beautifully decorated room oozing in restful vibes. There is a Smart TV, chest of drawers, dressing table and full length mirror plus an ensuite shower room with a large walk-in shower, wash basin and WC. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, wash basin and WC. In the hallway, you will find the utility cupboard where the boiler is located as well as the washer/ dryer and a microwave if needed. 

The owners kindly provide Number 4 Salt guests with two passes to the spa facilities at St Ives Harbour Hotel, a three-to-four minute walk from the Salt apartments. This gives access to the gym, pool and jacuzzi as well as a generous 20% off beauty treatments. Be sure to pre-book sessions and treatments to avoid missing out. If working out at the gym or relaxing in the pool conjures up hunger, the passes will also allow 20% off food served at The St Ives Harbour Hotel.

This luxury holiday apartment in St Ives is just a 10 minute walk from St Ives Harbour passing some iconic places along the way where the views are extraordinarily beautiful. The choice of beaches, restaurants, bars, galleries and shops is extensive which makes St Ives holidays a destination in itself. The nearest beach to Number 4 Salt is Porthminster Beach which can be accessed via a footpath opposite the Salt apartment building that leads downhill to the palm-tree lined, sheltered sandy beach where the sea is crystal clear and calm. The walk takes approximately 5 minutes before sinking toes into the gorgeous sand. Porthminster Beach has a beach cafe and also a restaurant as well as public loos so is a perfect place to relax, swim, eat and play.

If you love golf, there is an 18-hole golf course at Tregenna Castle which is a few minutes' drive from the apartment or West Cornwall golf course in Lelant offers extraordinary views from every one of their 18 holes. The nearest supermarket is Tesco and is a very short drive away in Carbis Bay. There are local grocery shops in St Ives which are all within walking distance of the apartment. St Ives is built on a hill where the Salt apartments at Belyars enjoy an elevated position with extensive and panoramic views. This does mean that the walk into the heart of the town is downhill but, after eating lots of treats, you will burn the calories coming back up - a guilt-free holiday! 

There is one parking space within the secure parking compound at Salt so day trips exploring the rest of Cornwall is stress-free. 

To recap: Number 4 Salt is a luxury two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in St Ives with gorgeous sea views, outdoor relaxation and dining areas, free access for two guests to St Ives Harbour & Spa and secure parking for one car. It is on the first floor of the Salt building and there are steps that lead up from the parking area to the communal front door and one flight of stairs or a lift to get to the apartment front door so not suitable for guests with very limited mobility. Bed linen and towels provided but please bring your own beach towels. Children are welcome and a travel cot and high chair is also provided. Sorry, dogs are not allowed at Number 4 Salt. Number 4 Salt is a family-friendly holiday apartment providing a travel cot and high chair. We absolutely loved our week in this stunning apartment. Everything that you could need has been thought of. The furnishings, appliances and finishes are all very high end, there are some very quirky pieces of artwork which makes this place feel extra special. The beds were super comfy with high end bedding, the two bathrooms were spacious, one with walk in shower off the master bedroom and the other had bath with shower. Everything was spotlessly clean and there was a welcome gift of tea, coffee etc. The views from the balconies was such a bonus. We will definitely return to this gorgeous apartment!

Just an incredible apartment. I honestly can't think of anything to improve! Great location within walking distance of the town center and beach, very well equipped, in a nice neighborhood, and beautifully and tastefully decorated. After our day trips, it always felt like coming home!

No. 4 Salt is a beautifully furnished apartment with every thing you could possibly need. From the fresh smelling bed linen (I know this should be a given but it's definitely not in all cottages), fluffy towels to the stunning soft furnishings you feel like the owners really care about your stay which makes this a fabulous property to stay at in St Ives. The location is 10mins walk into St Ives with a few steep hills along the way but only a short walk down to Porthminster Beach. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. Thank you

There can only be one review for number 4 Salt and that is five star. It's an excellent apartment, very comfortable with high quality furniture and fittings, we felt the interior was very Scandinavian. The two balconies are a great asset, the front one is lovely to have a breakfast overlooking the sea and the side one is lovely in the evenings when you can sit and lounge with a glass of wine. An added bonus is the secure gated parking, as most of the accommodation in St Ives don't have any. The apartment is in a very quiet area about 5 to 10 minute walk into town, some may find it a little steep on the way back, but it will keep you fit. Had a great holiday staying at number 4 Salt and I'm sure we will book again in the future.

Fantastic apartment, ticked all our boxes. The apartment just shouts quality everywhere. So good we're booking again for next year. 10 minute walk into the centre of St Ives. 2 minutes walk down to the Harbour Hotel where you have passes to use the spa facilities. 20% off treatments. We booked 60 minute massages which was brilliant. Also with the passes, you get 20% off food in the hotel, which was also excellent. Then to finish off, you've got the service from the Orange roof's staff. All were so helpful when contacted.

We cannot recommend the staff at Orangeroofs highly enough.. They were thoughtful, super helpful and very quick to respond to any questions we had. Thank you so much.. And a special thank you to Billie. Our apartment was excellent.. From design, comfort, quality of furniture, fixtures and fittings plus parking and sea views from both balconys.. We loved it.. And again used it to visit family and friends who live in the area. We hope to return.

Such an excellent stay at number 4! We couldn't recommend it more. Lovely views, the apartment had everything we could have wanted and more. The lovely weather was the icing on the cake. First holiday with our 8 month son and made it so easy. The use of the swimming pool and spa was lovely. We hope to be back soon! Orange roofs was also fab and getting in a few hours early was a great bonus. We've used them again for a bigger family holiday in June!

Number 4 Salt was so so lovely. The apartment was really clean and we all loved the decor! Wonderful view out to sea from both balconies. We arrived early and although the apartment wasn't ready we were given a parking permit so we could wander down into St Ives for a while without trying to find a parking space. Very happy with our stay here. Would definitely recommend Orange Roofs..they were brilliant. Billie emailed me straight away when I phoned and asked for personal recommendations of good places to eat and listen to live music. She was very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Fantastic spacious Apartment tastefully furnished with everything you need, love the Lounge TV. Great outlook across the bay to Gwithian. Undercover secure car parking and benefitted bonus use of the Spa,Gym and Pool facilities for 2 at the Harbour Hotel 1 minutes walk away. Bonus Easter Egg from owner on arrival was a lovely treat. Thank you and will stay next one we are in St Ives. 10/10

We had a lovely weeks stay at Number 4. Furnished to a high stand and two balconies to enjoy the views of the sea. One covered so we could sit out even on a rainy day. Close to town centre and beach and the added bonus of a secure parking space.

This is a great apartment, with 2 balconies with fab views of the sea, beautiful furnishings and decor and lovely comfy beds. My teenage daughter loved the huge TV in the living room and having one in the bedroom too. Lots of extras such as the coffee machine with pods and a bottle of wine to welcome us! Parking is easy and secure and the location is just a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of St Ives. A hilly walk back but much needed after all the food we ate. Oh and the spa passes for the Harbour Hotel were an enormous bonus on a rainy day!! All in all a fantastic place to stay of you are coming to the lovely St Ives.

This apartment is 5 star luxury. Exactly what we expected after seeing the photos online. Everything a guest might need has been thought of and is available. The view from both balconies is amazing. The added bonus to this apartment is the 2 passes to the Harbour Spa where you can enjoy all the benefits of the spa, pool, gym etc. We have had a wonderful week's holiday. Thank you.
