Excellent place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at No1 the coach house, beautifully clean and has everything you need to enjoy your stay, view is lovely across to Godrevy lighthouse, will hopefully be back again. Also loved the christmas decorations!

Perfect house, fab sea views and a nice stroll down into St Ives! Kitchen well equipped and all the communication was seamless! Would definitely recommend!

A very nice apartment with an amazing view. It was clean and with good facilities. Perhaps not ideal for less mobile people due to steps inside the property and the elevated position over the bay (needed to get the great view from the living room), but for those that do not suffer in this way the extra steps are worth it.

Fantastic stay. Perfect location to get down to Porthminster off-road via the coastal path. Will hopefully be back in the future if they have us!

Great apartment.

What a stunning apartment. Everything you could need. Only 20 minutes walk into St Ives and the parking was very much appreciated. Very comfortable beds and sofas. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely apartment with everything you would need including two parking spaces which is an absolute bonus. A bit of a walk to town about 20 mins also a pathway down to the beach both of which are not too bad. Overall a very enjoyable stay in St Ives which never fails to disappoint.

We have just come back from a wonderful stay at 1 The Coach House and I can't sing enough praise about how wonderful this property is and how clean it was. The property is of an extremely high standard and even though it was on the main road there was no noise and there were some lovely little zig zag paths that cut down directly onto the beach and into St Ives itself. Billie and Torrie at Orange Roofs are exceptionally hard working and any issues which we had were dealt with immediately - I would thoroughly recommend both Orange Roofs and the coach house for a wonderful holiday and with our dogs!

A wonderful stay in a gorgeous house. Contemporary living with beautiful view. A 10min walk to main town, albeit steep hill, but lots of short cuts down to the beach, just be prepared for the incline coming back! But bus stops right outside if needed :-) House immaculate, clean and well cared for. We had a fuse go whilst we were there... Orange Roofs straight on it and came out, sorted what they could then booked electrician to check - great service. Highly recommend both the accommodation and Orange Roofs for a delightful holiday in St Ives!

A great holiday accommodation, very clean. Showers were amazing and the house was lovely and warm. A 15 minute walk into St Ives, a tad hilly though!!! A great stay and great communication. 

Lovely house, a good 10 minute plus walk to town but that's not a bad thing. A problem with one of the bedrooms meant it could not be used but communication from Billie was first class and a solution was quickly agreed before we arrived.The Coach House was an ideal location for a great holiday.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Coach House. The view from the living room was lovely and we were pleasantly surprised about the amount of open space in the apartment which was perfect for our little girl to play. We arrived to milk, bread, eggs, butter, tea & coffee which was very thoughtful after a long journey. We would stay again, thank you. 

Fabulous Christmas and New Year at 1 The Coach House. The property was ideal for our family, guests and dog. On arrival there was a gorgeous selection of goodies to help settle us in and the place was spotless and was wonderfully decorated. The apartment was stocked with everything we needed and was ideally located close enough for a 10 minute walk into St Ives yet far enough out to have quiet time too. Parking for two cars was great too.
Orange Roof staff were great to deal with, kept us informed throughout of any changes or things we needed to know and made sure our break was perfect. Highly recommend.

Had a very enjoyable week at 1 The Coach House. The apartment was good, very comfortable and all mod cons available. Having parking spaces provided is a real bonus to any St Ives holiday property. The apartment was well cleaned before our arrival and a nice welcome pack was left for us with some goodies. Orange Roofs were excellent, very good communication, and a really positive approach to customer awareness and satisfaction.

Thankyou for a wonderful holiday at the coach house, so clean on arrival, the view and parking was just perfect for us all. Will definitely return.

We had a fantastic time at 1 The Coach House, St Ives with Orange Roofs. The accommodation is even better now than last year due to the addition of a separate dining room which is very well designed and enjoyable to use. 1 The Coach House is in a great position and only a short walk from St Ives and Carbis Bay which is great as our dog loves the location also and the leisurely walks on the beaches with his ball. Having two parking spaces at the property is rare in St Ives so this is an added bonus. Highly recommended for all that St Ives has to offer and as a base for exploring the surrounding area. Orange Roofs staff and booking process are superb with first class professional communications throughout and constant updates online.

Another fantastic week in St Ives made even better by our stay here. Everything in the spacious accommodation is of a high standard including the bedding and towels ( always a plus having large, good quality towels!) It is well equipped with everything you need for a stay including Netflix and a range of games for rainy days. An added bonus are the two parking spaces and the outdoor area. Nothing was better than relaxing in the lounge with the bifold doors open soaking in the view across the bay towards the lighthouse. We will be back!

A gorgeous house with sea views on the top of St Ives. A breathtaking walk up to the house but worth it with the bifold doors to freshen up the comfortable lounge area. Ample space for everyone and appliances to support self catering needs.

Can not wait to go back as this house is amazing. Very clean and only 20min walk in to St Ives. Only thing I would say is next time I go I would take my own towels as not enough left at the house I thought they would be calling in with more towels but they did not . Thanks for a great holiday

Where to start..the WOW factor on entering No1 The Coach House or the WOW provided by St Ives? The House was spotless, ideally placed, fantastic layout which made the most of the views, the private courtyard is a superb addition and the folding doors to the lounge which means you feel like your'e outside while sitting inside - in a great way! St Ives has so much to enjoy: independent shops, bars, cafes, restaurants and so many with views to see for. Don't miss the Hepworth museum. It's also so easy to travel to Penzance and other resorts by train. We thoroughly enjoyed our walks into St Ives, either by following the road or using the shortcut to Porthminster Beach. This made it easy to leave the cars parked for the week! Our only note of caution is that the road runs directly behind the house, and while this makes it easy to find and park, it also means there is road noise from early in a morning. We are used to this but for those who aren't, or are looking for a quiet sleep....well, you just need to be aware of this situation. Not an issue for us to lessen our 5 start rating though, and we would happily return here if we need to house 6 adults plus a dog! Being able to park 2 cars was another bonus. Dealing with the Orange Roofs team was also easy and a real pleasure from initial booking right through to checkout.

The house was spotless, luxurious and spacious. The view was amazing and the location was perfect . Only 15 mins walk into the centre with lots of picturesque routes to take. The back of the property is on a main road , which can be a bit noisy at night when sleeping but I'm used to silence at night. It didn't not spoil our wonderful time however .

The Orange Roofs team has been excellent at every stage of our stay in St Ives, both before and during our holiday, promptly responding to our queries. The property itself was second to none, very comfortable, in a lovely location, and in top condition. All in all, five stars. We look forward to booking with Orange Roofs again.

Great communication from Orange Roofs leading up to and during our stay. The house was very clean and comfortable, with great views! Everything we needed was provided for us to enjoy our stay.

Great location and very comfortable house. The view out to Godrevy is lovely as is the ease of getting your car in and out of St Ives! The Coach House has pretty much all you need and it's easy to rest here. It's also just above the footpath and a fine walk into Carbis Bay or St Ives. It is noisy though being next to the road and the bedrooms which are all on the roadside part of the house do suffer because of it. We had a great time here.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at 1 The Coach House. The apartment was beautiful, spotlessly clean and had an amazing sea view from the kitchen/living area. The location was great and only a short walk into St Ives/to Porthminster Beach. Would highly recommend booking through Orange Roofs, the communication was great and check in/check out was very smooth. The Orange Roofs app included lots of useful information and the welcome hamper left in the apartment for our arrival was lovely! Thanks for a great stay.

Lucky enough to stay here 12-18 April 2021 thanks to Borris, Orange Roofs kept in touch constantly throughout the year and the communication was fantastic.1 The Coach House is in a great location just above Porthminster Beach which is the best in St Ives in our opinion.The apartment itself is stunning with sea views from the lounge ,can't wait to come back again soon.

From the moment we booked everything was really easy. The app had all of the detail we could ever need. When arriving at no. 1 coach house, we were stunned, everything is modern, quality and clean. The 3 bedrooms were great, all doubles, 2 nice big rooms and one smaller double. The view from the patio windows is beautiful, I took many photos! The kitchen had everything we needed, washer, dish washer, fridge, freezer, kettle, coffee maker, pots pans etc.. 2 bathrooms both great and modern, showers brilliant and always hot water and plenty of it. 2 parking spaces and we were in walking distance to the beach, the town, restaurants etc. We only drove once and that was to a wonderful local spa. I would 100% stay again. To the owners/managers the only one tiny thing I would add is a soap & shampoo holder in the downstairs shower. It really needs it! But seriously everything else was perfect. Top tip... book restaurants in advance!
