Ocean Seascape

We had a lovely two weeks staying at Seascape . The apartment was beautiful and we had a lovely welcome pack to ease us in including butter, milk, scones and jam! We were kept up to date about our booking etc via email and texts from Orange Roofs and asked about the bed configuration that we wanted, linen changes etc and all the information we needed was provided. We especially liked the fact the apartment had its own parking space (on a drive). The apartment is at the top end of St Ives and there are steep hills to tackle so we certainly got in sone exercise! All roads lead down into town so only a 4 min walk. Lots of places to eat and drink, although its advisable to book a table in advance for some of them. We figured out when the best times were to go to certain places and we were usually lucky and accommodated. There's a Tesco nearby and a Co-op tgat you would need to drive but you can have deliveries made to the apartment if you wish. We horoughly enjoyed out stay and highly recommend Seascape.

Wow! What a stay. Ocean Seascape was perfect for our holiday. One of the main requirements for us was a parking space to save my pregnant wife from walking. For reference, a Land Rover Discovery 5 fits perfectly on the driveway, something which looks to be something in limited supply when looking at other properties! As for the general location, for us it was ideal. No less than 5 walking routes to different parts of St Ives, reaching the harbour in about 5 minutes. The walk back, slightly longer being uphill - but I'm not sure you can get anywhere without hills/steps! Porthmeor beach literally on the door step down a path and some steps - amazing. The house itself was lovely. A very well stocked kitchen as well as very warm and spacious living area. The information available in the app prior to the stay is very useful, would encourage reading through, especially the inventory as there really isn't much which isn't supplied! A bonus was arriving to scones, jam and cream waiting for us - they went down very well! Thank you. It's safe to say, next time we visit St Ives, we wouldn't hesitate to book again

Fantastic property, great location and well equipped

A beautiful apartment within easy walking distance to all the beautiful beaches and the lovely town of St Ives. The apartment is so well appointed with everything you need for a great holiday. It was warm and comfortable and a lovely place to come back too after a day out. It felt like a real home from home and definitely exceeded my expectations. I can recommend The Mermaid restaurant for a special meal and The Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Museum is definitely worth a visit.

We have recently returned from our 3rd visit to Ocean Seascape. I would recommend this lovely place to stay. It has a high standard of decor and cleanliness. It is situated near the centre of St Ives so close to shops, bars/cafes, restaurants, beach, Tate gallery & Hepworth museum. The sea view is great from the front of the property. It has a court yard at the back. Parking at the front of the property is a great bonus.

We had a lovely few days staying at this property. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The parking space in front of the property is a real bonus.

The property is perfectly situated - so close to the beach and a couple of minutes from the town. The parking space is invaluable! Everything was to a really high standard and Ocean Seascape had everything we needed for a holiday with young children.

We had a lovely time, we all said it's probably the best place in St Ives we have stayed, the place is extremely clean, with everything you need and an added bonus of the living area being completely separate to the bedrooms, the outside space is great too.

What a wonderful holiday! A beautiful contemporary, luxury cottage just a short stroll from the beach or harbour (coming home is always via a hill!). The cottage is very well equipped, beautifully furnished, clean, cosy and quiet. (and with a large parking space). We have holidayed with Orange Roofs a few times now and have always been very happy. Thank you once again for a wonderful break.

Ocean seascapes is an amazing place to stay. It is exceptionally decorated and fitted with luxury items which we thoroughly enjoyed during our recent stay. It is all of a very high quality which we didn't expect with it being a holiday let but please note it is excellent and worth every penny. The showers are amazing and fully relax you after a full day out on foot in lovely Cornwall The beds are so comfortable with really good quality bedding The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked with everything you would need for whatever meal you were cooking Parking right outside is a fantastic bonus Orange roofs are excellent too , from booking to arriving the service was excellent and so easy. The housekeeping was excellent everything was immaculate There is nothing we can say that isn't fantastic about the property and Orange roofs thank you for making our family holiday a very memorable experience and for looking after us we will be back Thank you for everything

Our second time staying in an Orange Roofs apartment in St Ives and it was another lovely experience. The apartment was beautifully decorated, beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. If you prefer to sleep in complete darkness, I recommend bringing an eye mask because the bedrooms have Venetian blinds which let in quite a bit of light.

We absolutely loved our stay in St. Ives! The flat was perfect, exactly as described and a cozy home-away-from-home. We had everything we needed and really appreciated the little extra things - like scones with jam and cream they left for us! Orange Roofs was excellent to work with every step of the way, with really detailed information and an easy way to access the property. Overall a wonderful experience, I would definitely book with them again.

This is a lovely property which was clean, well equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was really comfortable and there was more than enough storage. Parking was easy and the space would accommodate a large car. Overall a lovely property. The team at orange roofs made us feel valued with a text to inform us the property was ready and a lovely welcome pack to greet us. Thanks for a great stay.

Ocean Seascape is a beautifully presented property with everything you could ask for. We have been there twice. Great having a parking space right outside. Love being just 5 minutes from Porthmeor beach.

September 2024 We booked here with our friends in one of our favourite places to spend time. From the first finding the property on AirBNB and then realising if you book direct you make a hefty saving (Winning!), to the communication throughout from the Orange Roofs team it was shaping up to be a great stay. Our first 2 week holiday for almost 12 years. Well we were very definitely NOT DISAPPOINTED. What a lovely, well appointed, clean, fresh and modern apartment. Lovely furniture and soft furnishings too. All the things you might need for a self catered holiday home from home. Can heartily recommend this location. We were two couples and it easily met our needs. Be prepared for the steep walks down to the beach or down to town and the harbour but this does not detract at all. A parking space right outside is great, but we needed to be in two cars and long stay parking at Barnoon is challenging with so many spaces set aside for permit holders. We managed to secure a space and pay for two weeks parking for £53 which was reasonable. We then shared the driving around for the fortnight by putting our friends car in our space for the day (additional charge) and "swapping" over on our return. We expected the "Indian summer" usually occurring for the start of September but had mixed weather which is how UK stays always go so can't grumble can we. And certainly nothing that the team at Orange Roofs could secure. Great Place, Great Access to beaches and town, lovely apartment, great communication. Would definitely return

What a wonderful place to stay! This is a return visit for us and it was perfect again! Very well equipped, beautifully decorated and excellent location for access to beaches, restaurants and town centre whilst remaining peaceful. There is also the added bonus of off road parking. A thoughtfully decorated & designed apartment. Well equipped & ideally situated behind the Tate gallery & a short walk to the Hepworth studio & garden. Very close to Porthmeor beach. Added bonus of a parking space. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay at the Ocean Seascape flat 2. The owners have given a lot of thought into the decor, really comfortable bed, good sleeps had and great shower. 3 minutes walk to Tate gallery, 5 minutes to Barbara Hepworth museum and 7 minutes into centre of St Ives for restaurants & shops. Definitely recommend to others.

Great apartment, wonderful position in St Ives for a family holiday.

My husband and I absolutely loved the ocean seascape. We loved the apartment. The location is perfect. You get in and out of town were easily.
The bathrooms may be a bit small but for us it was ok.
The livingroom and kitchen are spacious and well equipped. We appreciated the door separati g the bedrooma from the kitchen and living room.
We would definitely come back.

My husband and I absolutely loved the ocean seascape. It's an incredible property with amazing rooms, every detail is well thought out and I have never stayed anywhere as clean and well presented. The fully fitted kitchen has everything you need. The fresh milk in the fridge was a nice touch, especially after the long drive from Yorkshire to St Ives. I highly recommend this property, in easy reach of the beaches, shops, restaurants and bars in the area. When we return to St Ives this property will be at the top of the list. Great value for money, ticks every box! 

We had a lovely week at Ocean Seascape in St Ives

Location- You don't need a car and there is a private parking spot outside the apartment. So once you get there you can relax and explore St. Ives by foot. The environment is very quiet, away from the hustle and bustle. There is an amazing beach opposite the apartment and down some steps. I think this is the best beach in St. Ives. It is bigger than the harbour, but small enough that you can see both ends of the beach. The sea is a beautiful sparkling clear turquiose colour and the sands are pale cream/ yellow. There is also an amazing cliff top walk right near the apartment. There is a sunny little patio at the back of the apartment with benches. You can walk or get the sea train to Carbiss Bay. The location has the best of both worlds - right within easy walking distance of the town but quiet and removed slightly, near the beach and cliff tops.

Interior - The apartment is spotlessly clean. The decor is very tasteful and stylish. The front bedroom overlooks the sea. It's very quiet. Each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom which is handy as it gives you two available bathrooms. The sink in the second bathroom is a tad small and cramped but that's the only fault I came across in the whole apartment. You can sometimes hear people walking around in the upstairs apartment but thats ok, its not that noticeable. The living area is nice, the kitchen is modern and clean with all mod cons. Overall we had a lovley relaxing stay, and would recommend this apartment for those who would like to be able to keep their car parked most days and walk around St Ives. Of course you can drive to the surrounding areas too and your private driveway parking spot will be waiting for you when you return which is rare in St. Ives!

Beautiful apartment, everything we needed and more. Very tastefully decorated and spotless. Perfect location in St Ives and great to have a parking space. Lovely cream tea awaiting our arrival. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Orange Roofs provided all the information beforehand and during our stay that was needed,and we felt that the service was very personal to us. Contacting them was so easy and they always replied immediately. We will definitely return to Ocean Seascapes and can't recommend it enough. St Ives of course was as beautiful as always! 

Fantastic apartment, modern, spotlessly clean. Ideal for beach and town.

We stayed at Ocean Seacape in July 2023, and this was our first booking with Orange Roofs. The overall service was excellent, communication from Orange Roofs prior to our arrival was superb, we downloaded the app and found all the information that we needed at our finger tips, including the check in instructions.
The property itself was ready on time and was very clean and well presented. The addition of some milk and a cream tea was a very pleasant extra. The property was spacious and had all of the features we needed for our stay. The space felt light, airy and modern and was the cleanest holiday home we have stayed in for many years. The bed was very comfortable and all linen and towels were clean and good quality. The location was excellent for us, close to the town centre and St Ives beaches all within easy walking distance, although there are some reasonable inclines to walk up to get back to the apartment that may be an issue for some. The parking space was fine for us and fits decent size vehicles, we were in an Audi A5. We had a wonderful week and would definitely use Orange Roofs and stay at Ocean Seascape again.

The only bad thing about this property is that you have to leave. We had a great time. Great location with parking. Close to everything in st Ives. Seascape has all the little luxuries that makes a holiday comfortable. I'll book it again.

Lovely 2 bed flat with 2 bathrooms. Very clean and tidy, great location and the added bonus of a car park space.

We loved our stay at Ocean Seascape. Comfy beds, nice showers & nice decor. Everywhere was clean & well looked after. We were even able to sit in the garden for a drink, which was nice. Great location too. Overall it was a very comfortable stay and good value, between two couples. Recommended. 

Fabulous accommodation .. a real home from home. Would definitely recommend and so clean and well furnished. Could quite easily live there permanently. 

Very clean with all the equipment and appliances you could want. Only one small point to mention, not being able to get in until 5 pm is a bit late, after travelling a very long way you just want to get in and settled. I would think 3 pm would be better.

We would also love to bring check in times forward but as we are still experiencing the fall-out of staffing shortage following the pandemic lockdowns therefore we cannot risk promising a 3pm check-in because there are so many boxes that need to be ticked to make the properties to the standard they are. Please be assured that as soon as we feel we can bring the official check in time forward, we will. Until then, we all work very hard on changeover days to get everything as it should and hopefully release the key safe codes ahead of the 5pm check-in. 

Please note from 2023, the new check-in time will be 4pm onwards.

We stayed at Ocean Seascape during Easter holidays and can honestly say it is one of the nicest places we've stayed in St Ives! Very well equipped and clean apartment, with lovely little touches (hand wash in the bathrooms, milk in the fridge... even scones, cream and jam for an afternoon tea!). Location is amazing, literally 5 minutes to Porthmeor beach. Plus the bonus of a parking space. We would definitely recommend staying here for exploring beautiful St Ives. Hopefully we can return soon!

This was our first stay in St.Ives and we couldn't had wished for a better apartment.. it is not only beautifully decorated and furnished but perfectly located and with its own parking space. It was spacious and had absolutely everything you could need. One thing to consider is bed configuration, we chose to have 1 double and 2 singles which actually resulted in our young sons getting the stunning and huge master bedroom! Won't make that mistake again.

This was our second time staying in Ocean Seascape, and we will now only use this property if available when we intend to visit St Ives. The ability to park directly outside and have an apartment all on the ground floor, makes this the perfect for us as my mother is a little unsteady on her feet. The accommodations were beautifully decorated and we wanted for nothing in the amenities supplied. The welcome package of tea, coffee and scones was most welcome after the drive to Cornwall. The Orange Roofs app is also excellent and probably the best of its kind I have used.

We arrived late in the day , but pleasantly surprised to find milk , coffee , tea bags and scones with jam & cream !! Such a lovely touch . The apartment was spotless , and very modern , everything there that you would need for your stay. . Nicely situated with the added bonus of a parking place , a must in St Ives . There was nothing we could fault at Ocean Seascape. Everything we wanted, and more, had been provided. It was clean, beautifully decorated and kitted out. Lovely having a car space outside too. Great being so close to Porthmeor Beach (if somewhat steep path to get to it). A friend had recommended Orange Roofs and we will be doing the same!

My friend and I booked the above as our holiday in Italy was cancelled. The place itself was even better than the photographs, very stylish and views over the sea. St. Ives itself is very hilly and as my friend and I found out its great going down to the sea front but not so easy coming back up. We did have to stop a few times to get our breath. That said we are so pleased we went and would definitely go back again to Seascapes.

We loved our day at Ocean Seascape and would recommend the apartment to anyone. It is in a great location with great access to all the local beaches, restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed our stay in Cornwall thanks to orange roof ´s team who is truly dedicated to their guests, maintains excellent and spot on communication. They really make it easy , classy and enjoyable. All details and level of service both prior and after the stay make them quite unique. The home was immaculate and very modern, with all attention to details. Just perfect specially when you travel with children. Great location and scenery.

We found Ocean Seascape to be a super clean apartment in a great location for visiting St Ives and the local area. The apartment has all the comforts of home with a lot of nice additional touches. The space and amenities are accurately described and the attention to detail is very nice. The communication we had with the booking/ hosting team was excellent and they were super helpful. The location/ apartment are highly recommended and we would definitely visit again.

This was our first time using Orange Roofs and our first time staying in Ocean Seascape. The app was a great resource and far easier than printing details out before leaving home. The flat was immaculately clean throughout, and the welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits was very welcome after a difficult journey down the A30. Fixtures and fittings in the flat were well thought out and everything you could need was there to be found. Nice touches included wall sockets with USB power points to charge mobile phones. The WiFi was good in the lounge and kitchen but a little flakey in the bedrooms. The bedrooms were comfy and spacious with soft clean towels and some slippers as well. The shower was nice and powerful. We will definitely use Orange Roofs again and if available will look to use Ocean Seascapes again too.

Clean and modern apartment with the bonus of a parking space included Sea view, walking distant to the beach and into st ives

Our booking to Ocean Seascape was a last minute decision and we've never used Orange Roofs before but from the moment we discovered them, they have been amazing. Orange Roofs, I dealt with Sam who was lovely, go above and beyond to ensure that you have everything you require and the app is great - super useful and easy to use. Ocean Seascape is a wonderful property. I'm a bit of a clean freak so always go armed with a bag of cleaning products - especially in the current Covid-19 climate - but I can hand on heart say that it was spotless. I don't think we've ever stayed in such an impressively clean property. Top marks to the cleaning team! All the fittings and fixtures seem very new and in top condition so it's clear it's a property that is loved and consistently well maintained. The property is in a fabulous location but get ready to really have a leg workout every time you venture out - those steps and hills are a killer so you really earn those cream teas! Ocean Seascape has everything you could possibly need and more. We travelled with two teenage daughters who shared the second bedroom, it is a bit of a squeeze as there isn't much room around the double bed...but if they can manage without killing each other then anyone can. Plus having a second en suite of their own was a real bonus. The master bedroom is a great size with plenty of storage space and a small but perfectly formed en suite with a powerful spacious shower! The living space and kitchen is ample big enough for a family of four and really is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The courtyard is small and functional but probably not somewhere you'd sit out for an evening drink...but frankly why would you when you have the beautiful beaches literally on your doorstep? We didn't miss not having a garden at all, and the private off road parking space is amazing to have in the centre of St Ives (we have a very large car so don't be deceived by the photo, it's plenty big enough). We had a wonderful week in St Ives. It's a beautiful town and dined out in some brilliant restaurants and local cafes which by the way were all very efficient with their Covid 19 arrangements. We will without doubt visit Ocean Seascape again and have already been recommending Orange Roofs to all our friends. Thank you for an amazing holiday!

Ocean Seascape is a wonderful, high end property and the perfect location for our first family holiday with our 8 month old twins, Isla & Lily.

The Cornish tea & Cornish shortbread upon arrival is every tired mummy's dream & the water pressure and hairdryers are lovely and powerful. Beds are super comfy and it's so easy to get in and out of town and onto the beautiful beaches.

I could stay forever in this fantastic holiday home.
