About Ocean Seascape

Ocean Seascape is a perfect base for couples or small families to visit St Ives in comfort, warmth and splendid convenience. This two-bedroom apartment has parking right outside the front door and can fit a sizeable car too! It is just a few moments’ walk following a footpath, immediately opposite the apartment, down to Porthmeor beach or, in the other direction, walk down a short hill that leads you straight into the heart of St Ives boasting the charming cobbled, shop-lined Fore Street and the beautiful turquoise waters of St Ives harbour front. The apartment has been finished to such a standard to show-case contemporary style yet create a warm and welcoming ambience and offer comfort to all who stay there. There are no stairs to negotiate throughout the apartment with all rooms being on the ground floor. The master bedroom is front-facing with an ocean view, a king size bed (which can also be split to be two 2ft 6" beds) and en-suite shower room with WC. The second bedroom has a double bed again with a neat en-suite shower and WC.

Towards the rear of the apartment is the living, kitchen and dining areas. The living room, is a beautifully decorated and inviting room which also has a curious 'objet d'art'; a safe which the owners found when renovating the house but as yet haven't cracked the code to see any loot…Let your imaginations run riot with smuggling escapades off Porthmeor beach Poldark style! The kitchen is well-equipped with integrated appliances (undercounter oven, hob and dishwasher) and a large fridge freezer with water dispenser as well as washing machine. There is a small courtyard at the rear of the apartment which gives a point of entrance off the beach to wash off any sand before heading into the calm of Ocean Seascape.

As already mentioned, the parking for Ocean Seascape is right on your doorstep but, if you wanted to park a second car, Barnoon public car park is very conveniently opposite the apartment. If you decide to leave the car at home, St Ives train station is a ten-minute walk away or just a few minutes in a taxi.

Apartment recently renovated with lovely floors. Ideal size for 2 couples with parking onsite. Fully equipped kitchen with plenty of plates, glasses and utensils. Washing / dryer machine was put to full use. Apartment ideally located with a short hilly walk into town and ideally situated for coastal walks. Weather was not the best but the main swimming beach is a very short walk away. St. Ives has a few great pubs and restaurants. Communication with Sam was spot on could not have asked for more. Definitely recommend this apartment.

We’ve just returned from the most wonderful week in St Ives. The weather has been exceptional for March. Not a cloud in the sky until Friday. Really hot too. It caught us out and we both caught the sun. We stayed in Ocean Seascape which is located just behind The Tate. We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect apartment. Beautifully decorated and furnished. We would have been quite happy to live there permanently. There are a number of walks from and also around St Ives. Some can be quite strenuous but worth it for the views you gain. We would definitely recommend Ocean Seascape if you decide to have a holiday here. The added bonus is the off street parking allocated in front of this property. We last stayed in St Ives twelve years ago. We will not be leaving it that long next time. It’s a beautiful place in a lovely county.

A fantastic apartment/flat just minutes from the heart of St Ives. We were the 1st to stay there and it was just lovely. 2 double bedrooms both with en-suite, a spacious lounge and great kitchen with everything you need. The parking space outside the property is a real bonus, especially in St Ives.
