Places to eat in Carbis Bay

Carbis Bay may be a small coastal town on the approach to St Ives but has fabulous places to eat and drink without venturing too far from your Carbis Bay holiday cottage.

There is an expression in Cornwall that exclaims just how amazing something looks or tastes, so listen out for ”That’s rich!”. It can be used to describe landscapes, handsome pets, attractive plates of food or incredible holiday homes. As you can imagine, once tuned into it, we hear it a lot. It’s unsurprising really as Cornwall is splendid during all seasons but it blooms from spring through to late summer. The seascapes are spectacular and so, to be sat on a restaurant terrace overlooking a beach gazing out to sea eating incredible looking and tasting food and drink, locally sourced such as St Ives gin, Newlyn caught fish and Cornish Yarg, is very hard to beat.

Carbis Bay has a great selection of restaurants serving seafood, vegan and vegetarian dishes as well as traditional British dishes produced with local ingredients. Set off on foot to reach this great selection of eateries and enjoy the walk back to your self-catering accommodation in Carbis Bay feeling relaxed and satiated.
