What others love about Carbis Bay

Pencroft is a lovely family house to stay in with plenty of room, we had 5 adults, 1 toddler and two dogs and it worked very well for us. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need. We found a lane not far from the house that took us down to Carbis Bay beach, it's quite steep but not too far. You can walk to St Ives from there. There are bus stops each side of the road at the end of the drive so easy to hop on if you prefer. The tapas bar and restaurant just down the road was superb so we had a few nights there, very friendly and welcomed our grandchild and dogs. We would definitely stay again.

Perfectly located for easy access to surrounding towns, hill walk down to the beach really not that bad, easy to stroll on coastal path to st Ives. Really nice new refurb inside and out

This was our second time aT Porthia as we love the location and the convenience of being on the major bus routes and close to Carbis Bay train station. The deck and 'back entrance' provide a novel charm to the property and the facilities available are excellent. Cleanliness on arrival and the goods/space provided are what drew us back for the family holiday again this year. Would have booked for next year but the property was fully booked for 2023 and as Orange Roofs provide an excellent standard of property we booked a slightly different venue. We all loved what Porthia provided and the excellent service from Orange Roofs. Great walks and beaches all within a very short walk. Love it.
