Chilito is a Mexican Bar and Kitchen on the Wharf front in St Ives so expect mind blowingly hot food and views!

Expects Nachos, Tacos, and Burritos (including breakfast ones too), cocktails and a free refill station for soft drinks. Being right on the harbour front, you can while away the time people and boat watching over your spicy food and drinks.

Brine is located at The Old Custom House in St Ives and serves delicious seafood treats and tasty cocktails.

Brine is open Wednesday and Thursday 12pm-8pm, Friday and Saturday 10am ’til 10pm and Sunday 10am to 3pm. Brine serves brunch, oysters and evening plates accompanied by great wine, cocktails and views of the harbour. Keep  your eyes peeled on their social media pages for supper club nights and steak nights every Friday from 5pm.

Bre Cafe is a small and peaceful cafe located at the top of Porthmeor Hill in St Ives so a good stop on the way to/ from Porthmeor Beach and the town centre from St Ives rugby club!

Expect delicious brunch, smoothies, smoothie bowls, homemade bread, ciabatta and cakes all washed down with Origin coffee.

Crowst is located on The Digey in St Ives and will make your mouth water with yummy treats between 9am and 4pm

If you are familiar with St Ives, Crowst is where Source Kitchen used to be so in the heart of St Ives on The Digey just off Fore Street. Crowst serves sweet and savoury brunches, Matcha, speciality coffee, soft drinks and cocktails. It caters for the little ones too with a children’s menu (aged 0-10) and offers a mouthwateringly great seasonal menu for lunches.

The Razor Clam  is a surf and turf restaurant in St Ives on Tregenna Place.

This is a family-run restaurant located in the heart of beautiful St Ives. It is a charming place to eat where the staff offer a warm and inviting atmosphere with a focus on delicious seafood as well as grilled meat dishes.

The menu has a rich selection of seafood dishes which is perfectly apt given St Ives’ and Newlyn’s fishing heritage. There is a small selection of dishes for children too.

ONZO is a Neapolitan pizzeria on the harbourfront of St Ives serving pizzas made from scratch in their authentic pizza oven open to view from your dining table.

Cintra Seafood Bar in St Ives is exactly the place you need to be if you want food directly from the sea, cocktails beachside, harbour views and a warm welcome.

Cintra also does Sunday Roasts so make sure you book ahead to avoid disappointment. The location can’t be beaten for a true St Ives dining-out experience. St Ives Harbour Beach is quite literally feet away and the views are simply mesmerising. This beautiful restaurant welcomes walk-ins and bookings and they are open 7 days a week 10 am to 10 pm.

 

Hub St Ives mixes modern interiors with the fresh nautical vibe St Ives is known for. Situated right on the St Ives harbour front, Hub St Ives boasts panoramic views of the harbour and some of the best burgers in the country!

Ardor is a new addition to Fore Street in St Ives, taking the place of Seafood Cafe.

Under the culinary direction of chef Dorian Janmaat, Ardor draws inspiration from the rich food traditions of the Iberian Peninsula and Mediterranean coast. Currently operating as a takeaway only, Blas Burgerworks was created around the concept of fresh food using sustainable suppliers, with a friendly communal seating style restaurant.

Blas offers some delicious homemade burgers created with fresh local produce and plenty of creative plant-based alternatives, these burgers have built a cult following with both locals and visitors. Blas Burgerworks is the ideal place to grab some good food and a bottle of Prosecco before heading to Porthmeor to enjoy the sunset.

Self-proclaimed ‘Most romantic restaurant in St Ives’, The Mermaid Seafood restaurant is steeped in history, having previously been a sail loft, a lemonade factory, a puppeteer studio and is even rumoured to have once had a smugglers tunnel!

An independent family business, the Beer and Bird is known for just that, fantastic fresh craft beers on tap and some of the best fried chicken you’ll ever eat. One of St Ives top gastropubs, the Queen’s Hotel provides a relaxed atmosphere central to the hustle and bustle of St Ives.

Located in a late Georgian listed building this beautifully refurbished Cornish pub aims to provide you with the perfect pint and a superb fresh meal at a reasonable price. With an ever-changing menu of hearty pub classics you’d expect, these are all produced fresh using local meats, fish and veggies, making this some truly special pub grub indeed. We would recommend a Sunday visit, with their Sunday Roasts being particularly popular. True to their roots, the Queens Hotel is foremost a pub, and therefore this is a great spot for not only a good pub lunch, but also an evening of live music or a pub quiz with a Cornish ale!

Boasting the best sunset views in the west, Porthmeor Beach Cafe is a must visit for anyone staying in St Ives!

With panoramic views over Porthmeor Beach and the Island, this is the perfect spot to enjoy alfresco dining after a day on the beach, or wave watch over a hot chocolate in the winter months. Located right on St Ives Harbour front, Silco is run by the St Ives Liquor Co, a family business responsible for ‘St Ives Gin’ and boasts a menu built to complement the roots in which this was created.

With the wonderful sustainable ethos of ‘nothing goes to waste’, the leftover produce used to create the famed gin are then used within Silco as cocktail garnishes or as dish ingredients. Serving fresh seafood dishes and tapas style plates, you can enjoy views of the harbour from this harbourfront cafe whilst savouring some locally produced liquors just metres from the beach.

Palais Provisions really does offer an intimate cosmopolitan, chic ambience to enjoy the tastiest of cocktails and wines with some nibbles

Little Palais closed its doors at The Custom House on the Harbour Front but has now opened ‘Palais Provisions’ at their original location on Barnoon Hill. Palais Provisions is an extension of Little Palais and offers its most popular items such as LP Cocktails, natural wines, ciders and beers. It’s a haven for beverage enthusiasts! They’ll also be serving their renowned homemade ice cream. Having invested in new ice cream equipment, you can expect more delicious scoop flavours and they now have the addition of tonka bean waffle cones – yum.

Often seen with queues outside through the summer months, the Scoff Troff is a great spot to grab some breakfast whilst visiting St Ives.

This industrial-style cafe is beautifully lit and adds pops of colour through its gorgeous crockery and friendly atmosphere, combined with some fantastic food inspired by the owner’s travels. Open for breakfast and lunch, we would highly recommend one of their scrummy breakfast boxes! And if you can’t get a seat indoors, why not take it down to the harbourfront to enjoy? Although mind the gulls!

Easy to find when wandering Fore Street, The Yellow Canary has been opening its doors since 1972 and is to this day an independent family-run business.

Recently refurbished, this relaxed coastal-inspired cafe serves some delicious freshly baked cakes and pastries and artisan sandwiches, all using locally sourced produce. The Yellow Canary also prides itself on its coffee, having worked closely with local suppliers to ensure you receive the perfect cup!

You’ll struggle to find a better location for a restaurant than Porthminster Beach Cafe! Located right on the sands of Porthminster Beach, sit out on the patio and take in the glorious panoramic views of St Ives Bay.

Overlooking St Ives town, the Brewhouse Cafe is located at the top of St Ives near the large Trenwith Car Park and has incredible views across the whole of St Ives from above.

Believed to date back to around 1312 AD, The Sloop Inn is one of the oldest inns in Cornwall and is a popular spot for not only visitors, but locals, fisherman and artists.

Only a few metres from the beach, the Sloop is located right on the St Ives Harbour front and cannot be missed. Step back in time when entering The Sloop, with the bar having an authentic Cornish feel, almost feeling as if you are travelling aboard a boat. Enjoy some pub grub with a range of local beers and ales, or sit outside and take in the view (but mind the gulls!).

One for Rum fans (and wannabe pirates!), the Rum and Crab Shack located on the harbourfront is known for its extensive rum collection as well as its fresh seafood menu.

Home of their own ‘Dead Mans Fingers’ spiced rum, the Rum and Crab shack is run by a group of friends and offers a dark, ambient dining experience with fantastic harbour views. With a collection of over 100 rums, this is also a great spot for those wanting to experience the St Ives nightlife!

Porthgwidden Beach Cafe is the place to go if you fancy a spot for lunch or dinner with views that will keep you ordering more and more to stay at your table.

Porthgwidden Beach Cafe is so much more than a cafe! It offers delicious local food starting from breakfast to evening suppers and your whole family is welcome (including your dog!) under the glass-covered terrace which is heated. The cafe is perched above Porthgwidden Beach so is super easy to access and find. Bon appetit!

Found on the cobbled streets of Fore Street, Firehouse Bar and Grill offers sleek modern dining and an ambient space for drinks, right in the heart of St Ives.

Known for its locally sourced flame-grilled steaks, rotisserie grilled chicken and local seafood dishes, if you love a mixed grill or something BBQ’d this is a must-visit. If you’re wanting a trendy spot for a few after-dinner drinks, the Firehouse also has its own Gin Bar!
