6 Sunnyside

This is our third time booking with Orange Roofs and as usual both the customer service and the accommodation were to the highest standard. We loved our stay at 6 Sunnyside. The apartment had absolutely everything we needed and the views were perfect. The location is excellent with easy access to everything St Ives has to offer. We hope to be back again soon!

We had a great time at Sunnyside 6. The apartment, the location and the weather were perfect so that we will come back for another two-week stay next year. Thanks to Orange Roofs for arranging everything.

We stayed at 6 Sunnyside for a week and it was perfect. Obviously amazing views from the large windows overlooking the bay with the added bonus of a convenient balcony for fresh air. Everything needed was provided, the large bed in the main bedroom was wonderful and the other room also lovely with great views, all topped off with fresh linen and lovely towels. Comfortable, spacious and in the best location with beaches to choose from just a short walk away. We've already booked for next year!

4th year in a row we have stayed here so both the property and the company are doing something right. Location is fantastic. The morning view over the harbour is unmatched and access to beaches, restaurants and shops is effortless. The flat is well proportioned, well appointed and clean. Will we make it 5 years in a row? Well that will depend upon finances but don't bet against it

Absolutely fabulous views. Apartment is well positioned, clean and has superior decor. Everything you could want for a holiday home. Orange Roof staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. We will be returning.

Another lovely stay at 6 Sunnyside with our friends, stunning views from the lounge and a cosy retreat when the weather was less than inviting outside. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, comfortable and convenient for all local amenities.

Excellent apartment, the views of St.Ives are stunning! Great location. You access the apartment at the rear which is clean and tidy. As expected due to the apartment being on the top floor the stairs are the downside. The in-door flight of stairs are behind two small white slat doors which are tight so travel light, mauling the suitcases and ferrying all the shopping is hard work. We found this not ideal for children or the elderly and there would be no storage space for a pushchair. We also found no storage space for beach equipment. It is warm, light, welcoming and comfy apartment once inside. The kitchen is small and compact with a table and two chairs, and it's also got another table and two chairs in the living room. Limited hanging/cupboard space in larger bedroom, on arrival looks great but left side wardrobe doors are locked and taken by owner, the right side are taken with cleaning equipment and bedding and overhead cupboards the same. We came February 2026 and had a fantastic week, the views make it for this time of year and would highly recommend. Orange Roofs were excellent, fantastic communication, all staff I dealt with were friendly and their 'App' is brilliant! Loved it! Highly recommend and will use them again!

MANAGEMENT COMMENT: The owner has taken steps to ensure that the wardrobe space is cleared of bedding to allow for more clothes storage for guests. The small white doors at the entrance of the steps is to ensure that pigeons do not nest at the top of the steps and foul. 

We had a lovely stay at 6 Sunnyside, such a warm and welcoming place. Even if the weather is bad you have an amazing view which we never got tired of, it was made more special with all the harbour Christmas lights. It is a real home from home, the bed we slept in was very comfortable as were the chairs and sofa. Orange Roofs were very helpful and very quick to reply to any questions. We loved our stay here.

We had a fantastic stay and enjoyed the best views in St Ives. The flat was well equipped and immaculate. The location is superb and we spent many hours watching the world go by. The parking space is an added bonus! We are already planning our next trip! Thank you Orange Roofs for a great property.

At first 5 Stars to Orange Roofs for super organisation of our stay, we felt cared for us excellently. The apartment is wonderful situated, the views out to the harbour and to the sea are amazing. Two Bedrooms with comfortable beds and fine linen let us sleep well. In the kitchen everything is provided we needed for cooking. Both bathrooms have windows which can be opened. We appreciated the overall cleanliness.

Really lovely property - sunny with amazing views, watching all the hustle and bustle in the harbour below. Orange Roofs made everything so easy - was really impressed by them and would book again

This is our third consecutive year in the same property and if that doesn't speak volumes then nothing will. Orange Roofs are good communicators and not only provide the information you need but also respond to enquiries in good time and again with relevant information. The property is well appointed, clean and has such a fantastic location that it cannot be beaten.

Absolutely fabulous! From the very first contact all the way to our departure we experienced professonal handling of every step. We felt very welcome. The flat has a prime location, breathtaking views, close to literally everything in St Ives and is very well equipped! Even with chairs for the beach! We just loved it ❤️

Another enjoyable stay in this beautiful apartment with stunning harbour views. Very comfortable as always, great location, clean and well-equipped. Having a dedicated parking space is a real bonus in St Ives!

Absolutely lovely property. We found it so comfortable and had everything we could have needed, and more! We appreciated all the little thoughtful additions throughout. A wonderful location for us with the best view imaginable, however 2 flights of steep stairs into the property might be an issue for some so something to consider. A great vacation in beautiful St Ives!

Loved this place! Really comfortable and well equipped flat, with picture perfect view that was ever changing with the weather and the tides. Would love to go back!

Fabulous apartment, superbly located right in the heart of St. Ives. Very comfortable and very well equipped with the amazing view topping off one of the best holiday apartments I've been to in St Ives, and I've stayed in many over the years. Communication and organisation by the agency has been brilliant, clearly demonstrating a genuine desire to ensure a first class customer experience, which they achieved! We will definitely be using Orange Roofs again.

Great place with fabulous views of the harbour and across to Porthminster Beach. The bars and restaurants on your doorstep. The property was well equipped and comfortable and the parking was a short walk away. We had a great week in St Ives and will be back next year.

Excellent property, great views, comfortable, clean can't fault it.

6 Sunnyside is fabulous. Credit to the team at Orange Roofs, the communication was excellent, and the teamwork what with housekeeping, car parking and the timing of information was faultless. Added to that of course is the honesty of the advertised particulars - that means you know what you are getting and can plan your holiday accordingly. And then when you walk in to the sitting room and you see the harbour spread out beneath you - it's something magical. If you have questions then just ask and you will get an honest answer and all of this means that the next time I visit St Ives, OR will be my first port of call for accommodation.

Fabulous place. Awesome views and location to/ within the town. Great little kitchen, had everything we needed, beds were comfortable and living room was cozy and comfy too. Parking is about 15 minutes walk away, but was not an issue at all. Loved it! 

Had a great week in the apartment, 6 Sunnyside, we will be back.

Superb location with an incredible view. Loved every minute of our stay.

I've stayed in several holiday rentals in St Ives over the last 11 years, and have just returned from my 10th stay at 6 Sunnyside, which says it all really. The views are tremendous, the apartment is spacious, bright, extremely comfortable and well-equipped, and it's much loved by the owners (and me!) I've stayed there several times on my own and have always felt very safe and secure. I had friends with me this time and they loved it. The apartment was, as always, spotlessly clean on arrival (big shout-out to the House Keeper), and the welcome pack was much appreciated. We didn't use the parking space - I parked up at the Rugby Club - but it's good to have it available. The service from Orange Roofs is always top-notch, and the Orange Roofs App is really useful. I can't recommend 6 Sunnyside and Orange Roofs highly enough.

We had amazing time from start to finish in a wonderful location.The Orange roofs app had all the information we needed and more ,very easy to use what a great tool.The apartment had everything a family of 4 needed very well equipped.The location was amazing in the middle of all the st Ives beaches,Harbour and town centre the allocated parking was easy to use and the views from the apartment were unbelievable especially with the wonderful weather we had.Brilliant place 5 Stars.

Lovely apartment with fabulous views across St Ives Harbour. Conveniently located with beaches, restaurants, bars and shops all in easy walking distance. No on site parking so unloading and loading the car, can be a problem. Car park space allocated but it's 15 min walk away. 6 Sunnyside is well-equipped with all the facilities you need and it's furbished to a high standard. It's up two flights of stairs but they're not really a problem. Would definitely stay there again.

Sunny side is a wonderful cottage to stay in. It's got everything you will need including a washer/ dryer combination witch is a bit unusual in a cottage in the UK. The view is unbelievable and location right in the center of St.Ives. It's important that future renters realize there's two sets of steep steps to the door of the cottage and if you are driving also be aware that parking is half mile away.

This is our second stay at 6 Sunnyside in a few months. The views of the harbour are not to be beaten, and the apartment is very comfortable and light. Would highly recommend.

Everything about the apartment was really lovely; great views; well equipped throughout and beautiful aesthetically. The whole process of checking in was simple and so was arranging the free parking slot. We had a fantastic week and will definitely be back!

We couldn't get enough of the perfect harbour view from this flat. It was hard to drag ourselves away from watching the fishing boats, changing light and weather, tide levels, and even the odd seal! The flat was really comfortable, with everything we needed, and in the perfect location. Nicely decorated, although it would be better without all the seaside nick-nacks, which just get in the way. We'd definitely recommend it, in fact we've already booked another stay there.

This flat is very well appointed, there is little that could be improved on. The bed we slept in was extremely comfortable, there is ample storage space, even an extra fridge and a recycling bin! The kitchen is very well designed and the lounge has a very comfy sofa and two stunning mid century style armchairs that point towards the harbour. The light levels are such that the white walls, tasteful understated decor and artefacts make it feel authentically Cornish without being twee. If we could we would rebook year after year, it's worth the money.

The view from 6 Sunnyside has to be the best in St Ives. Having stayed at Seafever we knew this property would be of a similar standard. In terms of improvements we would have liked a bigger washing airer & a few less Knick knacks to enable us to put our things out, however this is being very picky! All in all a great week!

Loved the idyllic setting of 6 Sunnyside with views across the bay and the added enjoyment of watching the boats come and go in the harbour. Ideal location, especially if you want to avoid those steep hills every time you leave the flat. Even though in our 80s we managed the stairs okay. The flat was very well equipped with everything you need for a stay. We would definitely return.

We had a great stay at this property. Wonderful view and very handy for the town. Very good communication from Orange Roofs after our original booking had to be changed through no fault of theirs due to a pandemic related kerfuffle. In particular, everything inside the flat was good quality (linen/crockery/furniture) and was clean. We spent a lot of time in the lounging chairs by the window! Looking forward to returning in the future.

What a beautiful roomy apartment 6 Sunnyside is. Lovely decor , plenty of comfortable seating and having 2 bathrooms was awesome. Orangeroofs is an excellent company with high standards and their regular updates and information can't be faulted. What a good parking space too - a lovely walk along Beach Road with no steep hills (which I really appreciated). We decided we would definitely come back to this ideally situated and beautifully presented apartment.

We stayed at 6 Sunnyside in December 2020. Superbly appointed with magnificent views over the harbour and St Ives with added bonus of a parking space 10-15 minutes walk away. Apartment was well equipped with everything we needed and more. It was spotlessly clean on arrival so a huge shout out to those who do this. The welcome pack of a cream tea, milk, coffee and sugar was most welcome. As soon as you walk into the hallway your eyes are drawn to the view and it was perfect to sit in the window watching the sea even of an evening looking out at the lights reflecting on the water. We were lucky enough to have the whole block to ourselves so was totally peaceful. Billie at Orange Roofs was extremely helpful from start to finish and communication is spot on with the app for property details and access information. I have to say this company certainly gives other local agencies a run for their money and we shall not hesitate in booking this property or indeed with Orange Roofs again.

Flew 21 hours from Australia just to stay here at No 6 Sunnyside. Well worth the trip, weather great, accommodation superb, views to die for!!!

There is nothing else we could have asked for during our stay here - we have had it all (except for the bad weather). Thank you to our generous hosts who have spoint us from start to finish. We will be back.
