Fabulous apartment, superbly located right in the heart of St. Ives. Very comfortable and very well equipped with the amazing view topping off one of the best holiday apartments I've been to in St Ives, and I've stayed in many over the years. Communication and organisation by the agency has been brilliant, clearly demonstrating a genuine desire to ensure a first class customer experience, which they achieved! We will definitely be using Orange Roofs again.

Great place with fabulous views of the harbour and across to Porthminster Beach. The bars and restaurants on your doorstep. The property was well equipped and comfortable and the parking was a short walk away. We had a great week in St Ives and will be back next year.

6 Sunnyside is fabulous. Credit to the team at Orange Roofs, the communication was excellent, and the teamwork what with housekeeping, car parking and the timing of information was faultless. Added to that of course is the honesty of the advertised particulars - that means you know what you are getting and can plan your holiday accordingly. And then when you walk in to the sitting room and you see the harbour spread out beneath you - it's something magical. If you have questions then just ask and you will get an honest answer and all of this means that the next time I visit St Ives, OR will be my first port of call for accommodation.

Fabulous place. Awesome views and location to/ within the town. Great little kitchen, had everything we needed, beds were comfortable and living room was cozy and comfy too. Parking is about 15 minutes walk away, but was not an issue at all. Loved it! 

Had a great week in the apartment, 6 Sunnyside, we will be back.

I've stayed in several holiday rentals in St Ives over the last 11 years, and have just returned from my 10th stay at 6 Sunnyside, which says it all really. The views are tremendous, the apartment is spacious, bright, extremely comfortable and well-equipped, and it's much loved by the owners (and me!) I've stayed there several times on my own and have always felt very safe and secure. I had friends with me this time and they loved it. The apartment was, as always, spotlessly clean on arrival (big shout-out to the House Keeper), and the welcome pack was much appreciated. We didn't use the parking space - I parked up at the Rugby Club - but it's good to have it available. The service from Orange Roofs is always top-notch, and the Orange Roofs App is really useful. I can't recommend 6 Sunnyside and Orange Roofs highly enough.

We had amazing time from start to finish in a wonderful location.The Orange roofs app had all the information we needed and more ,very easy to use what a great tool.The apartment had everything a family of 4 needed very well equipped.The location was amazing in the middle of all the st Ives beaches,Harbour and town centre the allocated parking was easy to use and the views from the apartment were unbelievable especially with the wonderful weather we had.Brilliant place 5 Stars.

Lovely apartment with fabulous views across St Ives Harbour. Conveniently located with beaches, restaurants, bars and shops all in easy walking distance. No on site parking so unloading and loading the car, can be a problem. Car park space allocated but it's 15 min walk away. 6 Sunnyside is well-equipped with all the facilities you need and it's furbished to a high standard. It's up two flights of stairs but they're not really a problem. Would definitely stay there again.

Sunny side is a wonderful cottage to stay in. It's got everything you will need including a washer/ dryer combination witch is a bit unusual in a cottage in the UK. The view is unbelievable and location right in the center of St.Ives. It's important that future renters realize there's two sets of steep steps to the door of the cottage and if you are driving also be aware that parking is half mile away.

This is our second stay at 6 Sunnyside in a few months. The views of the harbour are not to be beaten, and the apartment is very comfortable and light. Would highly recommend.

Everything about the apartment was really lovely; great views; well equipped throughout and beautiful aesthetically. The whole process of checking in was simple and so was arranging the free parking slot. We had a fantastic week and will definitely be back!

We couldn't get enough of the perfect harbour view from this flat. It was hard to drag ourselves away from watching the fishing boats, changing light and weather, tide levels, and even the odd seal! The flat was really comfortable, with everything we needed, and in the perfect location. Nicely decorated, although it would be better without all the seaside nick-nacks, which just get in the way. We'd definitely recommend it, in fact we've already booked another stay there.

This flat is very well appointed, there is little that could be improved on. The bed we slept in was extremely comfortable, there is ample storage space, even an extra fridge and a recycling bin! The kitchen is very well designed and the lounge has a very comfy sofa and two stunning mid century style armchairs that point towards the harbour. The light levels are such that the white walls, tasteful understated decor and artefacts make it feel authentically Cornish without being twee. If we could we would rebook year after year, it's worth the money.

The view from 6 Sunnyside has to be the best in St Ives. Having stayed at Seafever we knew this property would be of a similar standard. In terms of improvements we would have liked a bigger washing airer & a few less Knick knacks to enable us to put our things out, however this is being very picky! All in all a great week!

Loved the idyllic setting of 6 Sunnyside with views across the bay and the added enjoyment of watching the boats come and go in the harbour. Ideal location, especially if you want to avoid those steep hills every time you leave the flat. Even though in our 80s we managed the stairs okay. The flat was very well equipped with everything you need for a stay. We would definitely return.

We had a great stay at this property. Wonderful view and very handy for the town. Very good communication from Orange Roofs after our original booking had to be changed through no fault of theirs due to a pandemic related kerfuffle. In particular, everything inside the flat was good quality (linen/crockery/furniture) and was clean. We spent a lot of time in the lounging chairs by the window! Looking forward to returning in the future.

What a beautiful roomy apartment 6 Sunnyside is. Lovely decor , plenty of comfortable seating and having 2 bathrooms was awesome. Orangeroofs is an excellent company with high standards and their regular updates and information can't be faulted. What a good parking space too - a lovely walk along Beach Road with no steep hills (which I really appreciated). We decided we would definitely come back to this ideally situated and beautifully presented apartment.

We stayed at 6 Sunnyside in December 2020. Superbly appointed with magnificent views over the harbour and St Ives with added bonus of a parking space 10-15 minutes walk away. Apartment was well equipped with everything we needed and more. It was spotlessly clean on arrival so a huge shout out to those who do this. The welcome pack of a cream tea, milk, coffee and sugar was most welcome. As soon as you walk into the hallway your eyes are drawn to the view and it was perfect to sit in the window watching the sea even of an evening looking out at the lights reflecting on the water. We were lucky enough to have the whole block to ourselves so was totally peaceful. Billie at Orange Roofs was extremely helpful from start to finish and communication is spot on with the app for property details and access information. I have to say this company certainly gives other local agencies a run for their money and we shall not hesitate in booking this property or indeed with Orange Roofs again.

The apartment was amazing; beautifully decorated with all the conveniences of home yet the little extras that make a place special. The location is fantastic with the most gorgeous views of the harbour across to Porthminster beach and the town itself just a minute's walk from the apartment. We had a truly relaxing holiday, made easier by the brilliant service provided by orange roofs. We would highly recommend.

The property was lovely and had everything you needed. The views were amazing especially stood out on the balcony watching the fireworks on New Year's Eve.

The apartment was sparklingly clean, well equipped, had extremely comfortable beds, amazing views, in a superb position. We loved it! Orange Roofs offer an exceptional personal service and I would recommend them unreservedly.

We were kept up to date at all times with all the pertinent information right up until the day of arrival - very useful (included things that we didn't know that we would find useful !)

Flew 21 hours from Australia just to stay here at No 6 Sunnyside. Well worth the trip, weather great, accommodation superb, views to die for!!!

We have stayed in many nice apartments during our travel in Europe, but this is the best so far! The combination of the well equipped interior, (including perfect wifi and comfortable beds) the amazing view makes this apartment a top scorer. And of course two other things: the apartment lies in fabulous St Ives. Secondly Orange Roofs is easy to get in contact with and you get quick answers from people with local knowledge. For our next visit to St Ives and Sunnyside 6 we only have two wishes: warmer weather and a shoehorn.

Sunnyside 6 is a wonderful flat. Every morning we would drink our coffee,look out the window and watch the activities in the harbour. Restaurants and beaches were within walking distance.The flat is perfectly equipped with all mod cons but with many personal touches.The flat doesn't have a parking space but we bought a Rover ticket for the week which was valid for 2 nearby public longterm car parks and also car parks in other towns.Finding a space might be a problem in the high season.Many thanks to Orange Roofs, who looked after us very well. The directions to the flat were perfect, we were very grateful for restaurant tips and other bits of advice. We really appreciated the phone call on our check-in day to inform us that we could occupy the flat earlier because it had been cleaned.Also,when we had a problem understanding how the towel radiators worked, our email was answered promptly. We enjoyed every minute in Sunnyside and hope to return!!

6 Sunnyside took our breath away as soon as we entered the apartment. The view from the living room window on to the harbour and beach was amazing. Orange roofs were very helpful and prompt when we wanted to change the double bed in one of the bedrooms to two single beds. The apartment is brilliantly situated for parking, the beaches and all the shops and restaurants. The decor is thoughtful and the apartment was very clean. The rental was a bit more than we would normally pay but definitely worth it. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Fab apartment, fab location: The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Its 3rd floor position meant there was a fabulous view overlooking the harbour, but it was also very private as you weren't overlooked - at all. Its location was great - right at the end of the wharf. It was well stocked; lots of crockery, cutlery and utensils; washing up liquid, laundry tablets etc - all the stuff that you think isn't important until it isn't there! We would definitely stay there again.

6 Sunnyside fulfilled all of our expectations. We had a very varied weather, to say the least, but we enjoyed every minute of our stay. When you have this stunning view in front of you it doesn’t matter if it’s raining or if there is a storm outside. We really loved sitting in front of the big windows and watch the tide. St Ives is really a cozy and picturesque little town with it’s small shops and cafes. We made some day trips to explore more of Cornwall and it’s really easy to take the bus from here. The apartment is well equipped and clean, the only thing we missed was a shoehorn and the bed in the smaller bedroom is a little bit narrow for two persons. However the beds were comfortable and we slept well. We can really recommend this apartment and recommend Orange Roofs. All the information given has been excellent. We can also recommend Lisa Robertson at Sandy Toes who arranged a delicious hamper waiting for us when we arrived late at night.

we had a wonderful stay in 6 Sunnyside it really is a special place to be. The view is so fantastic, we really did spend a lot of time watching the tide come and go. my husband particularly enjoyed watching the boats as an old sailor himself!! the apartment is well equipped and organised and clean. The location is perfect for walking into town or galleries or the gin bar! but not so near the pubs for late night revellers. We did enjoy our stay and hope to come again to this special spot which seemed to get most of the sun in the whole of St. Ives with a harbour and sea view, perfect. Thank you.

What a wonderful apartment. Spacious, spotless and a tad quirky. Despite snow, sleet, rain, drizzle - and a bit of sunshine, we loved every minute of our stay. It was very hard to drag ourselves away from the stupendous views. Thanks again to Sam and Ross for a wonderful week. see you in 2019!

Stayed her for a week in August with our two teenage daughters. It's a wonderful flat with the most amazing views, literally left right and centre. Comfortable with everything you could possibly need and spotlessly clean. Orange Roofs realty do go the extra mile to make your holiday special. Thank you.

I used five holiday flats in St Ives before discovering 6 Sunnyside, and it is by far the best. Proof of this is that I keep re-booking it! I am very grateful to the owners for the high standard of facilities in the flat, and for the fact that it has the sort of character and extra touches you tend only to find when the owners use a property for themselves. The location is very convenient and the views are absolutely superb - sometimes you just want to sit and stare. Any drawbacks? Just one. perhaps this is not the perfect flat for those with mobility problems as access is via two flights of stairs.

This must be the best place to stay in St Ives!! Beautifully light and very tastefully decorated, we had to force ourselves to go out because the view was so spectacular! We spent an hour before breakfast watching the view and came straight back after our evening meal to watch again! It is also so conveniently located that we didn't need to use our car for 3 days running. We left it on the Island carpark, looking out to the sea! Thanks, Orange Roofs, for the useful restaurant tips, all of them served superb food, and thanks to the owners, Gill and David, for letting us use their immaculate flat. We hope to be back!

6 Sunnyside....what a gorgeous place!! Just returned from a 1 week Easter break as a family of 4. We LOVED the apartment. The location was absolutely spot on, was very comfortable and brilliantly equipped. But...THAT VIEW!! We adore St Ives anyway, but sitting out looking over the harbour every day was incredible. We're already hoping to stay here again as we really did love it. Massive thanks to Sam and the housekeeping team as well who kindly arranged some extras for me for our arrival. Brilliant service, and have already recommended Orange Roofs and the apartment to multiple people. Thank you so much!

I've recently returned from my 5th stay (in 3 years) in this fabulous apartment. The views are incredible and the apartment is light and bright, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It really is my favourite place to stay and I can't recommend it highly enough. I've been back at home (and I really love my home by the sea in Kent) for 10 days now and, as usual, I am missing St Ives and 6 Sunnyside very much indeed.

The acid test is, would you come back? Well, I just keep re-booking 6 Sunnyside from year to year (having tried five self cater places in St Ives previously). The flat is very well furnished and equipped, spotless and with attractive artwork on the walls. Orange Roofs are very helpful and responsive. Climbing the stairs could be an issue for some - but the main problem I found was persuading myself not to spend too long sitting in the lounge with that spectacular view over the harbour!

We all loved the apartment and the views - it was like watching a moving picture with the sea out, then in, the morning overcast then beautifully sunny, the bright morning sunlight then the warm golden evening light. We ate at the apartment a lot because essentially we probably had one of the best views of the harbour! We were quite troublesome guests - we managed to lose the apartment key whilst kayaking and left some stuff behind - but nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend - lovely place and lovely people to deal with.

This apartment is spectacular! Everyone mentions the views, which are amazing, but the property is too.it is clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Lovely to sit and watch the harbour with a glass of wine after being gout. The only disadvantage because it's the top floor of 3 you have to climb the stairs, so someone disabled or ailing in some way it would not be good(unless you talk nicely to the taxi driver to help you with your cases) The kitchen would benefit from an extra cupboard for food as most supermarkets will deliver, but we ate out most evenings so not a problem for us. Cellar Bistro the best place we ate in Fore St, with their freshly caught Hake excellent. The apartment is situated close to the shops and restaurants and if you just want to chill the little beach in front of you is ideal if you don't feel like walking far. Orange Roofs were very helpful sending us lots of useful information before we arrived and on arrival. Lisa from the Sandy Toes Hampers provided us with a breakfast hamper for a small charge which was delicious! All in all, I would recommend staying here and give it ten out of ten
